Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmer’s unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

Bottle thanks to my father in law. A: Cloudy darkened yellow with a thin white foam head. Some lacing. N: Grapefruit, pine, earth, some orange, cracker and biscuit, lemon rind, hint of marijuana. T: Quite bitter but not astringent. Propped up by crackery malt. M: Very very dry, hint of alcohol, spritzy carbonation. O: Solid IPA. This one hits all the quintessential IPA points and is well built and clean.

Poured from the six pack of bottles, looks orange with white foam. No apologize needed on this one, solid IPA at a good price.

Strong hops bitter punch in the end. Persistent bitterness. Good bittersweet balance. M: Medium body. Soapy and molasses. Bittersweet aftertaste which is very grassy and piny. Persistent bitterness. O: Good drinkability. Good American IPA.

nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 29, 2015
Tao at Brickhouse. Unfiltered thick orange-tan body. Big head. Pronounced citrus hop aroma. Hmm. Awkward mix between dull APA and new school IPA. Like a hop extract bomb, neutered, hospital IPA. Artificial West Coast IPA. Unimpressive.

King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 18, 2015
Yellow color with foam layer. The smell is hoppy grassy. The taste is bitter tart without compromises. Too dry and too little substance to justify the level of hopping. Not bad, but not balanced either.

ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - NOV 12, 2015
Bottle. Juicy, resiny, floral, orangey hops, subtle tropical notes, soft and crisp flavour, subtle sweetness, balanced by a strong yet not overbearing bitterness. Lovely beer.

(Rating #6518)
