COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmer’s unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

Citrusy fruity hops with heavy maltiness of caramel, biscuit, bread, in the nose Pours a very hazy golden Amber color, didn't realize this was bottle conditioned. Lots of yeast floaters. Small white head Very well balanced in flavor for an IPA. Betty and citrus hops dominate, but bready and caramel malts have a huge role. Medium bodied with medium co2, short lingering bitterness. Enjoyable IPA. Well balanced. I could drink a few of these without getting palette burnout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 29.04.15. Golden. Off-white lacing and diminishing head. Strong aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Taste is similar, and balanced with malt sweetness. Good bitterness throughout. Quaffable.

Great double IPA - citrus and exotic fruit from the hops with a grapefruit bitterness against a medium bodied bready malt. Lots of punch flavour. A little sweet and a lot bitter.

Bottle. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma of citrusy and tropical fruits. Medium body, average carbonation. Malty beginning followed by bitterness which lingers in aftertaste. Grapefruit zest in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours medium orange with a one finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, bready malts, and light sweet malts. Taste is similar to the aroma with the addition of some grassy and herbal hops. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice IPA.

Bottle. Orange Amber, subdued citrus and pine character, caramel malts, aspirin bitterness. Lacking brightness. Just ok.
