COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmers unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

12 oz bottle bought from Trader Joes in Salem OR $1.35 Pours a pale orange colour with a large, thick off white head. Fkoral, resiny hop aromas mainly but with strong aroma or caramel malts and maybe some wheat. Like. Smooth yet very hoppy taste..resin and floral in aspect.. Good smooth thick mouthfeel ( must be the wheat)..long lasting hop after taste. OK IPA not a fav though.

Lovely color thatsa bit hazy and deeply copper with a large foamy ivory head. Lovely bitter earthy resinous nose. Crisp but largely bitter flavor thats a touch hot but mostly floral and piney with a bitter grapefruit pith. A bit leafy and citrusy all around and could be a bit more balanced or clear.

Very crisp, dry IPA. A good dose of hops with hints of pine, grain, and a bitterness that comes through the finish.

Bottle. Pours is cloudy golden with thick white head. Nose is fruity, citrusy, lemon, lime, light tangerine with touch of pine. Moderate bitter, fruity, citrusy mouthfeel. Medium body, sticky to creamy texture, soft carbonation, long bitter finish.

Underlig sammenstning med hvede og IPA. Ellers en nogenlunde l der er frisk i smagen.

Bottle, 7.0%. Mild caramelly aroma. Hazy light amber colour. Small frothy white head. Mango, perhaps vanilla flavour. Quite high bitterness. Dryish finish giving it an almost watery feel.

Unfiltered. Aroma of citrus. Taste is malty with a high citrus midpoint. An interesting note almost like coconut. Finished almost creamy with a lingering bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bomber into snifter. Pleasant aroma with some citrusy notes. Appearance is a nice orangey hue and the unfiltered haze adds to its charm. Definitely heavy on the bitterness. All in all, an unspectacular local IPA. While tasty, there are better options to be had.

From a 22 oz into a Sam Adams beer glass. Pours gold with big head and lace. Aroma of grains, malt, grassy hops. Medium carbonation and significant mouthfeel. Flavors of rich malts, grains, hay, grassy hops, bitter herbs, minerals. Overall rich and creamy but some rough bitter flavors.

Bottle tag Jul 23 2105. Pours orange with light head. Aroma is caramel, grass, decayed hops. Probably very old. Taste is quite same. Seems to be good IPA when fresh. Rating is by imagination when it is fresh. Want to dry freshly!

This was a nice hoppy beer that didn't overpower the flavor. I really thought this finished well and I could enjoy quite a few of these. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
