sturmthis (1149) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAR 6, 2014
On tap. Very dark brown with two finger head. A slight hint of caramel. Solid dunkles.

Saeglopur (2177) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - FEB 7, 2014
Draught at the brewpub. Brown, hazy body, with medium, creamy, beige head. Light aroma of yeast, chocolate, roasted malt. Tastes of yeast, dark chocolate, caramel, nut, coffee, roastyness, some dried fruits. Medium to thin mouthfeel, with a strong carbonation and it finishes roasty and slightly bitter, with coffee and some nut. Not bad, but too thin and somehow unbalanced.

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 17, 2013
Sotet vorosesbarna, vekony sargas habbal. Ez rendben van. Illata visszafogott, egetett cukros, porkolt malatas. Ize is hozza, karamella, malata es vegre a komlo is megjelenik. Kicsit mar bockos. Ez jo!

madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2013
26th March 2013
At the Brewpub. As ’Dark Beer’. Clear deep amber beer, tidy off white head. Softish palate, smooth. Creamy malt, a little caramel and marmite. Mild minerals. Finishes neutral. Fresh.

Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - MAR 11, 2013
keg at the brewpub
Mid red-brown medium bodied with ripe fruit, a touch of chocolate and sweet malt body. Enjoyable but not the best.

vipinvelp (4427) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2012
Redish brown, somewhat undefined color with white foam haed. Aroma is sweet caramel, light yeast. Taste is bit too much caramel, again some yeast and less bitter. Short aftertaste. (Vienna 201210)

neur0 (1274) - Hannover, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2012

Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2012
Tap @ Brewpub, Vienna. Day 1 RBESG 2012. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Nose is toffee and diacetyl. Smooth. Too much.

Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2012
RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Hazy copper with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma drowned in diacetyl. Sweet caramel and diacetyl flavour

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2012
19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured clear red to brown body with smaller brownish head. Light caramel and toffee aroma. Empty flavor, some sweetness is here in caramel form, as well as some rustical grainy/herbal note. Slight butter acidity note make description complete. Thin body of course, finish was short watery and a bit milky. Wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so empty.
