On tap. Very dark brown with two finger head. A slight hint of caramel. Solid dunkles.

Draught at the brewpub. Brown, hazy body, with medium, creamy, beige head. Light aroma of yeast, chocolate, roasted malt. Tastes of yeast, dark chocolate, caramel, nut, coffee, roastyness, some dried fruits. Medium to thin mouthfeel, with a strong carbonation and it finishes roasty and slightly bitter, with coffee and some nut. Not bad, but too thin and somehow unbalanced.

At the Brewpub. As ’Dark Beer’. Clear deep amber beer, tidy off white head. Softish palate, smooth. Creamy malt, a little caramel and marmite. Mild minerals. Finishes neutral. Fresh.

Mid red-brown medium bodied with ripe fruit, a touch of chocolate and sweet malt body. Enjoyable but not the best.

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured clear red to brown body with smaller brownish head. Light caramel and toffee aroma. Empty flavor, some sweetness is here in caramel form, as well as some rustical grainy/herbal note. Slight butter acidity note make description complete. Thin body of course, finish was short watery and a bit milky. Wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so empty.
