Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. Dark amber appearance with a tan head. Butterscotch,caramel, light nutty aroma. Hazelnut, caramel, buttery, toasty malty flavor.

Toasted bread crumbs move into berry jam and light caramel in this lively and roasty bitter Czech-style Tmavé.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy tower of foam dissipates into the see-through dark brown with reddish hints.
-Wooden smoke is tasted as well, mostly in the finishing dryness.
-The nose portends some dryness.
-The end result is very drinkable, and as pleasant the U Fleku imho.

bottle, purchased at the brewery. Hazy brown, creamy beige head. Medium-bodied, malty with caramel and chocolate, somy shy but nice aromatic hops. Well balanced.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep, dark brown with reddish hints and a big, tan head. Big aromas of burnt malts, prunes and treacle. Flavour started sweet, before some doughiness, roasted notes and dusty hops, leading to a dry finish. Great stuff.

Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized tan head, light roasted coffee nose. Burnt malt, mild coffee and milk chocolate taste. Rather vinous finish, but all in all good dunkel.

RBESG ’12, Vienna. On tap at the brewpub. Clear brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is light buttery, light sweet, caramel, Werther’s original. Flavour is light sweet, malty, light grainy, caramel, hint of butterscotch. Light-bodied.
