Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2004
In my opinion, even better than the beer it aims to emulate, u Fleku's Flek. A classic Czech Cerne with a smooth roast aroma, full roast and sweetish toffee/caramel body and lots of dry hoppiness in the roasty finish. Full of character and flavour, so good I had another! (on draught in brewpub)

Koelschtrinker (20591) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 4, 2011
Dunkelmalziger, sehr zielstrebiger Antrunk. Gut! Test vom 11.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,12,12,13,-,12 - 12,15

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2008
Draught at the brewpub. dark burned brown (red glow) - offwhite head. Offwhite head. Burned, dark burned bread, light sweetness, licorice, berries, chocolate. Very nice and drinkable. More like a schwartzbier than a dunkel.

downender (8687) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Deep, dark brown with reddish hints and a big, tan head. Big aromas of burnt malts, prunes and treacle. Flavour started sweet, before some doughiness, roasted notes and dusty hops, leading to a dry finish. Great stuff.

Cuso (8717) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 19, 2012
Tap at RBESG 2012. Dark brown color with medium white head. Aroma of roasted malt, butterscotch. Taste, roasted malt, butterscotch, coffee . Bittersweet finish. Good.

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 17, 2009
0,5 l bottle, bought at the brewpub. The beer called simple Dunkles and has a 4,5% abv, but after the taste i think this is the right place because of the style. It has a nice appearance with a deep ruby body with a 1cm-high foamy beige head. Fine sourish aroma of roasted malt and some toasted caramel, light coffee. Smooth mouthfeel with a well balanced roasted flavor with a mild coffee taste, fine caramel malt and nice sourish bottom-yeast. Very drinkable, well balanced beer without any big surprise.

joergen (28392) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma of caramel, dried fruits and liquorice. Sweet and malty flavour of caramel, liquorice, bread and hops. Sweet and hoppy finish. Nice dunkel.

On Tap at the brewbub. Klare dunkel orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch gering röstmalzig, Karamell, erdig. Geschmack trocken hopfig, Schokolade, etwas Kaffee, hopfig bitter im Abgang, klasse!

Mette (224) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2008
Fad på brewpubben. Mørkbrun med rødlig skær og beige skum. Dufter og smager af mørkt brød, brændt, ristet malt og chokolade. God rund eftersmag som bliver hængende. Fin øl minder nok mest om en schwartzbeer.

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 17, 2013
Sotet vorosesbarna, vekony sargas habbal. Ez rendben van. Illata visszafogott, egetett cukros, porkolt malatas. Ize is hozza, karamella, malata es vegre a komlo is megjelenik. Kicsit mar bockos. Ez jo!
