Really good beer, but you’d never know it from the blue and gold packaging - looks a little too old school. Well made Marzen that I’m bringing to the Thanksgiving table. Sure, I’ll save a pumpkin ale for desert, but the touch of sweetness on this beer is perfect for the mashed sweet potatoes with butter. My guess is it’ll pair nicely with the rest of the meal as well.
Most of the reviews here have nailed the aroma/flavor really well. The hoppy aftertaste doesn’t knock you over, but certainly stands out. A good more-than-one beer, so buying a six is more than justified.

Picked this up as a single bottle at the local liquor store, just to try a new (to me) local brew.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Good Amber Color, pleasent lager aroma.
I was surprised by the well balanced taste. A malty rich flavor that I like in a medium lager, nice light bitterness which is appropriate to the style, and very crisp clean finish. Everything I look for in a session beer.
This is a beer that would pick up again, great for a day in the sun!

Smooth lager, great palate, which I rarely notice. Easy to drink and you’ll enjoy it as long as you’re not overly picky.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

amber with medium body and moderate carbonation. lightly fruitpunch with a good caramel malt balance. a clean and refreshing beer with interesting subdued tastes. it is just a touch perfumy and again not overdone. a bit slick in the mouthfeel which complements the frothy kind of mixed carbonation. good

Gotta say...I tried this by absolute chance a few nights ago, and LOVED it.
Great taste and rich color. Very smooth with a very light caramel aftertaste.
I’ve been an avid Yuengling drinker for years, but this may just be changing that. Highly recommended!

Bottle. Big malty Märzen nose, caramel and bread with faint lager fruitiness. Orange-copper body, clear with a fizzy beige head. Classic Märzen taste drifting toward a Vienna. Aftertaste is dry and malty with light caramel bitterness and faint flowers for the outro. Body is medium-light, very quaffable and not quite oily. Really nice!
