If you don’t love this beer - like me - then at least you can enjoy the name.

Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2009
Nose has roasting nuts, deep malt and some very light hops. Chocolate and malt immediately in the mouth, moving to some burnt hops and more malt kick deep in the palate. Surprisingly creamy feel and a finish that is not bitter but rather sticky and warm. Perfectly acceptable stuff!

MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2009
(bottle) Clear, amber to copper colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty rooty aroma with notes of caramel, cacao and a tinge of molasses. Moderately sweet flavour with a low level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Aromatic and toasty malt-profile with notes of caramel/toffee, lingering into the mildly bitter and toasted finish. Classical Dunkel from Bavaria. 19.XI.09
