Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Pale nut brown, creamy head. Citric yeasty nose. Medium swet with some caramelly malt and evident underlying yeastiness. Mushy sour mash flavour. No bitterness. Quite flawed and unpleasant.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Light brown beer with a decent and creamy head. Classic "old school" Dunkel of the dark lager style. Not particularly full but still very aromatic. A bit sweet, malty with some toffee, with a nice hint of hops on the palate. 270603

Bottle from Maruhn, Darmstadt
Beautiful color, mahogany with red shades. Light aroma of caramel, dust, cereals. The flavor is soft, with a mix of caramel, light cereals, light roasted nuts. Ordinary bitterness. Simple Dunkel, but easy to drink.

Koelschtrinker (20396) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 2, 2011
