An unclear orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of banana and wheat, while the flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol and banana - not much wheat to speak of. The mouthfeel is thin inspite of the alcohol presence in the flavor and the rather high ABV - weird. This can be done much better. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2005

[bottle at Wieninger restaurant in Germany]
Cloudy, very effervescent, yellow-light brown with a rocky head that forms excellent lacing. The aroma was full of delicious yeast mixed with clove plus lemon notes and just a hint of sulfur from the yeast. Lemony malt flavour balance with phenolic cloves and just a tiny bit of banana esters. Low but perceptible bitterness playing off a minty, cold alcohol flavour, both are balanced with a pleasant sweetness. Light body and tons of carbonation.
