COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-strength beer containing 5.4% by vol. alcohol, which is spicy and not too strongly hopped. Stammbräu harks back to the optimistic mood of the early days, still prevailing here, and is advertised with period illustrations from shortly after the turn of the century. Stammbräu is only available in the traditional cliplock bottles, which have been re-introduced. Particularly in the Vienna area. 12.6°

50cl bottle served cold. Poured bright gold with a fluffy white head. Some honey, some refreshing citrus, better than expected, will probably buy again on this trip.

Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts with something bitter on the side. Flavor is mostly malts. Pretty much your ordinary pilsener.

skortila (5970) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2011
On tap. The aroma has grass, is a bit skunky. Clear, yellow-golden coloured beer with a white head. The taste is quite sweet, light grassy, bit grainy.

Koelschtrinker (21370) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 4, 2011

inbirraveritas (1611) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 13, 2011
Tükrös arany szín, szivacsos fehér habbal a tetején, amely vékonyan megmarad. Édes-savanykás aromája kenyér, fű és kovász jellegű, íze malátás, édes. Közepesen száraz, majdhogynem rövid, édeskés befejezését fűszeres és citrusos ízek kísérik. Teste könnyed és közepesen csípős, emiatt jól iható. Bármilyen fajta sallangtól mentes, kellemes és tisztességes főzet a nyári napokra.
