COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-strength beer containing 5.4% by vol. alcohol, which is spicy and not too strongly hopped. Stammbräu harks back to the optimistic mood of the early days, still prevailing here, and is advertised with period illustrations from shortly after the turn of the century. Stammbräu is only available in the traditional cliplock bottles, which have been re-introduced. Particularly in the Vienna area. 12.6°

Clear gold color with white foam. Aromas light of malt and wheat. Palate, light and thin body leaving light sweet aftertaste. Taste is on sweeter side but quite watery and malty. Overall, simple light beer.

Egy kifejezetten finom pilsner, amely Ausztriában szinte minden boltban előfordul és az ára sem sokkal magasabb, mint a "hagyományos" söröknek. Kifejezetten gyönyörű, sötétsárga színe van, a habja sokáig kemény marad és "tömör". Mellékíze nincs, markánsan kesernyés, de nagy mennyiségben fogyasztva sem okoz komolyabb problémákat, nem indul be a nyáltermelés... Nekem kifejezetten ízeltt, bár az is igaz, hogy én a markánsan kesernyésebb söröket kedvelem.

Pours a clear golden color, light, topped with a decent white foamy head. Mild aroma os some bready malt with lots of grassy notes later on. A bit sweet on the start, grassy hops in the body and decent bitterness in the finish. Pleasantly drinkable.
