COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-strength beer containing 5.4% by vol. alcohol, which is spicy and not too strongly hopped. Stammbräu harks back to the optimistic mood of the early days, still prevailing here, and is advertised with period illustrations from shortly after the turn of the century. Stammbräu is only available in the traditional cliplock bottles, which have been re-introduced. Particularly in the Vienna area. 12.6°

Wieselburger Stammbräu Ausztria – külsőségekre nincs panasz, az alsó-ausztriai cég ezen söre csatosüvegben, ízléses címkével érkezik. Az íz is remek, komlós, testes, amolyan finomhangolása az alap Wieselburger ízének. Az Adria Sétányon fellehető, néha!

500ml bottle from Merkur Leibnitz. Grassy, citrus aroma. Pours a medium frothy white head. Very lively. Colour pale gold. Hop explosion upon first taste. Well balanced sweetness with minimal bitterness. Spicy hops in this one. Very good indeed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2006 Maybe it was because I was on vacation (German restaurant in Niagara Falls - 2001), but I thought this stuff was great. It had a unique fruity/spicy flavor and aroma which I enjoyed.
