Bottle, 5.4%. Quite malty and slightly dusty aroma. Very dark brown colour, not really bernstein IMO. Big, frothy light brown head. The flavour is rather malty, roasted dark malts. Also has a little smoked horse flavour. Rather good combination. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium to high carbonation. Nothing exciting, but well-balanced and probably good for sessions. pivnizub (10731) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2006
Bottle: Dark amber coloured, thin but quite stable off-white head, sweet (dark-)malty, caramelly nose; sweetish-malty, nutty flavour, medium bodied; short, slightly bitter and nutty finish. A cheap, but tasty and decent beer ! bierkoning (13451) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2006
Bottle from MoritzF. Copper color, creamy off-white head. Vinous aroma with touches of coffee and hints of metal and caramel. Nutty bitter flavor with caramel, grapes and butter. Very tasty and a typical example of the style.
