Bottled. Yellow. Unclear. Off white head. Cloves, banana and light orange in the aroma. Flavour is quite wheaty. Spice, yeast, banana in the flavour. Medium bodied. Dry. Sweetish fruity and spiced end. Fresh.

Ungstrup (37905) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2009
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of wheat, and lighter notes of banana and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, straw, cardboard, and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Mild yeasty and dry estery fruity aroma. Bitter, fruity and estery wheaty flavoured. Dry wheaty finish.

darkseduction (750) - Zweibrücken, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2008
Bottle 50cl. Pours a muddy brew with thick white head. Fizzy carbonation, fersh, yeasty smell, cloves´, banana. Typical taste, pretty good for a no-name brew. Easy to drink, nothing special.

kappldav123 (6110) - GERMANY - MAY 18, 2008
Bottle typical bavarian coloures. Beer in the glass not much foam. Starts very mild, almost vapid. Fruityness is missing. Only an average hefeweizen!

MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2007
Bottle, 5.2%. Good banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Very big, stable white head. The flavour is wheaty with banana and citrus in good balance. I do not get any clove or other spicy esters. Good, wheaty mouthfeel, a bit thick. Prickly carbonation. A good example of a German Hefeweizen.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2011 Foamy head, blonde, cloudy. Citrus, chalk and a touch of detergent in the aroma. Lemon, bananayoghurt and some detergent in the flavor. Not very good, but the bananayoghurt is nice. Thanks, MoritzF, for the bottle. (5 3 6 2 9 = 2.5) Re-rate: brewed by Weiss Rössl Bräu Eltmann, al least the label metioned this. Bottle. Golden blonde, hazy. Tangerine, vinous notes and a hint of anis in both aroma and flavor. medium bodied, banana notes. Very drinkable weissbier with some refreshing sour notes.

pivnizub (10670) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 16, 2006
Bottle (thank You, MoritzF): Slightly hazy, pale golden, stable white creamy foam; typical nose: mainly bananas, traces of citrus, maybe a tinge of cloves; sweetish-sourish flavour, mild; shorter sweetish-malty (traces of bisquits !) finish, nearly no tartness, a bit sourish-citrousy in the aftertaste. O.K., a cheap one, but not unpleasant at all...........

unibaren (157) - 8000 Århus C, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2006
Pretty weak aroma for a Weiss bier. A little bit of fruity banana aroma but that is about it. Durable white head with ok lacings. Lots of carbonation. Cloudy yellow-orange colour. Pretty fruity taste with above-wheatbeer-average hop bitterness. Neither spectacular nor terrible.

dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - OCT 1, 2004
Cloudy yellow colour. Lacey medium head. Aroma is full of banana and I do not mean that aroma or taste in a weizen that one calls banana, because it´s the closest approximation, but this smelled like I just peeled a banana. This real banana thing goes on in the taste. Fruity, slightly yeasty and sweet. Maybe a bit too less carbonation. I think it´s a decent beer, but the question is, do I want my weizen to taste somehow like a banana milkshake.
