Amber color, hint of butter in the aroma. Vinous flavor with grapes. Surprisingly low on aroma and flavor. pivnizub (10662) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 21, 2006
Bottle: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy yellow off-white head with a yellowish tinge, quickly diminishing; malty, caramelly nose, also molasses and hops; sweetish-malty flavour, milk chocolate too, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky, low carbonated; sweet-malty finish with a light bitterness in the very end. Well quaffable, a bit sticky, though............... cubs (10640) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 26, 2012

Clear amber with a medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and breadish notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and breadish notes. Finished malty. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2013
It’s clear copper with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of caramel, burnt sugar, malt and light fruit. The flavor is fairly sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, burnt sugar, fruit and a touch of nuts towards the slightly dry finish. It’s very soft and mellow...

Toasty, nutty, bready and clean.
Minerallic, sweet, lightly bitter.
Crunchy and toasty malt flavor early.
Develops juicy / fruity hop bouquet late.
Medium body, crisp, medium carbonation.
Suffers from simplicity but seems fairly well-made.

Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation.
I passed this up at Nuernberger Alm despite it being a special offering (to explore Lindenbraeu more, which didn’t pan out), but thankfully Landbierparadies has plenty of this too. Quite fruity-hoppy, wonderful nose that’s varied and very enticing (although I could see Jeffy finding grape jelly in this, due to the distinct raisiny character, so it’s anyone’s guess what he will think). Very clean and balanced and creamy in the mouth...the first 4+ brew of the trip so far (and hopefully not the last).
