Bottle (from the Landbierparadies Nürnberg): Deep amber coloured, small, fluffy brownish head, quickly diminishing to a small frothy layer; distinctive fruity and grainy nose with a tinge of yeast and hops; the taste is also fruit and malt with a background hop-presence; slightly bitter finish with a distinctive fruitiness and traces of malt, too. All in all a well made Fränkisches Bier...............

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2011
bottle, thank you wastl! Clear chestnut colour, small off-white head. Intsneive mlty aroma. Medium-bodied, incredibly caramelly - I think I’ve never tasted a beer with so much caramel flavour before - delicious and robust, finished by a touch of aromatic hops. Smooth palate. Superb stuff!

Bottle. Clear amber colour. Almost no head. Aroma and notes of malt, rather sour in the finish. Good beer.

Bottled. Deep amber coloured. Pure butterscotch aroma and flavour. Very problematic.

2.3
Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, beautiful amber with a lightly creamy, off-white head. Somewhat impure, malty nose. Light notes of caramel, but uneven and disharmonious albeit not exactly unpleasant. Vaguely sourish edge - no bitterness. I believe this was probably a bit off. 190206
