(2-Jan-11) - Very light hoppy grass aroma. Clear light amber colour, fantastic white head and frothy lacing, could have given it 5/5 if the colour was more interesting. Big grassy hop and light passionfruit flavour. Grassy light bitter hop finish and passionfruit hop aftertaste. Started a bit stark for my taste but got better as l went.

on cask at the brewery. bright golden with a slim but steady head - the way i should be in a land without any half litre lines on beer glasses. pleasant aroma - dandelion, moss and rusty tea; firm and flat bodied; decent bitterness, crisp with a faint lemon zest tartness. would have been keen for a session on this if i wasn’t so keen to get stuck into the imperial stout and rumpoles

(hand pump) Poured a very pale gold. Mid strength. Initially not much flavour, but the finish was very nicely rounded with some malt, cereal and fruitiness coming through. Bitterness was not noticeable.

Clear and flat. All the cask ale elements. Nice oily hops and staleness. Very drinkable.

Tap. Very clear pale amber body with an average sized off-white head. Aroma-taste of strong citrus-pine with a lasting bitter finish. Light-medium bodied.

Had to move this here from Mild Mannered as this is the name i wrote down in my book. On cask at the brewpub. Cask conditioned, pours a copper colour with a small off white head. A light hop in the aroma, but dominated by a nutty caramel. Taste was much the same, with more toffee and caramel, along with a slight pine taste. Very decent.

On tap, handpumped. This was a great surprise. Muted aroma, with citrus, honey, and leaves. Taste is sweet, with lingering bitterness, and long length. Palate is almost creamy, with a medium body. Yellow, with a frothy persistent head.
