On tap at Wig & Pen Brewery, Canberra. Pours a pale biscuit gold with a solid white head. Aroma: Malt, mild caramel, citrus, passionfruit. Not overly aromatic. Taste: Biscuity malt, caramel malt, citrus, mild earthy flavours. Mild fruity flavours. Medium to heavy bodied. Mild carbonation. Moderate bitterness at the backend of the beer. Easy to drink. Not a complex flavour balance, but still a decent beer. mcberko (18431) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2016
On tap at Wig & Pen, pours a hazy bronze with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a good citrus and pine hop component, and biscuity malt on the underside. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, some light citrus and a bone dry biscuity malt backbone. Well-balanced and drinkable. Solid. I don’t know what this beer is like normally, but they poured it through a Randall and damn if that didn’t do the trick. Hazy and light amber. Thin head. Stick your head in a bag of hops...sauvin and galaxy(it’s actually NZ Galaxy). Ultra bitter, but with pale malt backing, no chewy shit. Ballsy APA. stoutnick (842) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2015
Light tropical fruit on nose. Bit too much effervescent tang on the taste for me. Not bad just not great. TimE (5999) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 30, 2015
Very dark brown color with a bit of caramel in the nose. Very malty with toffee, coffee and modest body. Not bad.

Taste at the wig and pen. Had a sort of passionfruit aroma - apparently they use only one hop in this (galaxy, I think they said). It was not bad but I prefer other beers of theirs with more pronounced hop flavours. hawthorne00 (4034) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 7, 2012
Tap. Clear golden amber with a cream head. Aroma of gooseberry, biscuit, passionfruit - v sav blancy. Light bodied. Tastes as it smells with firm slightly spicy bitterness. Wouldn’t have minded just a little more sweetness. Refreshing, nice balance of fruity flavours but neither hoppy enough to be just about them or with enough presence to be wholly satisfying. On tap at the brewpub. Served a clear golden color with a small head that fades to nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of so me caramel sweetness and bit of fruit, with a trace of grain in the background. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a bit of a creamy texture. Well balanced. Very enjoyable beer, nice flavor with a bit of character. Worth a try. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 15, 2011
on tap at the wig and pen. richly golden with an inviting aroma of pine, mulch and red berry; lightly toffeed with a surprising late bitterness. great winter drinking davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 9, 2011
Tap. Amazing beer. Aromas of caramel, berries, and tomato. Predominantly sweet, with very long length. Palate is velvety, with a thin-to-medium body. Red, with a frothy head.
