Massive unstable looking head bubbling in all directions. A tart under current. Big bubble gum phenyls with not so much banana. Maybe a liitle uncouth and unsophisticated.

Bottle from Plonk. Clear dark golden, Clove and wheat malt characters dominate, slight banana, some sourness. Best before Sep. 2012, so probably not a fair rating, tasted a bit stale.

This rating is based on a past experience, serving this beer on tap a few years ago. It was an immediate favourite and remarkably easy to recommend. There were overt aromas and flavours of banana, clove and bubblegum and this was reflected in the flavours as well. It poured hazy yellow-straw colour and the head was short lived, but it was a deserved favourite with my customers. It sat nicely within the style guidelines. A simple, uncomplicated thirst quencher.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2010 I like this beer. Simple, not too estery, just great for the end of a hard days work. A solid effort by the boys at Wigram.

500ml bottle pale straw hazy with small white foamy lasting head. Liked the banana, yeast, spice, wheat, combo with some lemon citrus aromas. Some tart sourness in a good way. For me the banana-iness made it yummy.

...bottle into weizen glass. Had a nice fluffy white head that lasted all the way down with lacing. On the nose was mainly wheat and yeast, with a touch of citrus. Smooth and yeasty, great sediment in the bottle, very hazy with chunks, which I like. Finished smooth, with mainly a wheat and yeast note, and slight citrus. Solid effort, worth a try.

Bottle. Very hazy, dirty yellow-brown with a brief small white head. By midway through, there was no head at all. Looks like an amateur home brew! Aroma is slightly sour, estery, with some banana fruit and faint spices. The palate is quite zesty, and despite the lack of a head, there is decent carbonation. The driving flavour is tart lemon with notes of banana, mild esters, and very mild spices. Finish is short and slightly tart. This played out more as an American style wheat in my mind. Not one Id reach for again.
