We have a passion for flavour and a lust for hops — this frisky, fragrant pale ale is the result. Whilst consistency is (rightly) the benchmark of most beers, we’ve gone Wild with Fresh and thrown away the rulebook. Every six months we source some of the most exciting hops from both the northern and southern hemispheres, which means two hop harvests and two excitingly different hop profiles.
Given the unpredictability of each harvest we’ll leave it to you to discover the individual aromas and tastes, but you’ll be guaranteed a punchy hop character alongside an appetising bitterness and a crisp dry finish that will send you back for more. This is a beer we like to drink all through the year. We think you will too.
The first brew of Fresh has copious amounts of New Zealand hops in it. We particularly love the sherbet lemon aromas in the Southern Cross.

Can at home. Pours a clear light yellow with a lively head that lasts. Aromas of cut grass, lemons, rubber, shortbread. Flavour is musty hay, citrus, pretty bitter.

Indeed a fresh hoppy beer, nothing out of the ordinary, but very refreshing and spiney. I guess some citrus was used and also citra hops maybe. Tastes good, but this brewery has better ones for sure.

Can @ Viniloteca. Fresh hoppy aroma of tropical fruits (mango), pine, zest. Medium light body, medium bitterness. It’s a quite nice IPA.

On tap at Vultures Lane. Pours gold brown with a great pillowy head. Peach, mango, pineapple, little sherbet stuff and a little bit of bitterness. Big and juicy enough to almost make up for that finish. Nice.

A little citrus and toffee on the nose. Good fruity and a bit of bitter taste. Good bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Good but no impressive beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, malt, and a bit of spice. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, hops, fruits, and flowers, leading to a bitter finish. The body is a bit light.

tmrmwel (2151) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2017
On tap @ Bergen Beer Craft Fest. Pours light yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, with light tropical notes of peach and citrus, as well as some malts. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops, with pine, citrus peel and grassy notes, as well as some light malts.

130517. As I have come to expect from Wild Beer this is a solid beer that ticks all of the boxes for me. Citrus hops dominate pretty much all aspects of this beer but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Finishes with a big burst of hops and is full bodied in the mouth.
