Keg at Cask Pimlico as Wild Beer Puritan, 5.7%. Six piece strings and harmonies band playing. Pours a pretty clear dirty orange colour, not as hazy as expected for a NEIPA, lightly sparkling with a faint beige head that leaves full lacing. Aroma is mango lassi, apricot. Nice fruits but quite muted. Body is a touch frothy with a fair fizz. Taste is creamy, apricot and passionfruit, straw, nice crisp spicy note to this - spicy yeast and carbonic vibe really make this crisp on the finish. Too much fizz for me but there are some nice creamy fruit flavours going on too. 7-4-7-3-15=3.6) Towey1989 (3260) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2017
Keg at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of passionfruit, mango, some orange, lemon, subtle pale malts and slight grassy hops. Taste of passionfruit, mango, some orange, slight grapefruit, lemon, a hint of pale malts and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, fruity and citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. A solid NEIPA, a good amount of tropical fruits and a good hop bitterness. I like. Heidbummer (881) - SCOTLAND - NOV 11, 2017
