bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Pours a pale yellow color with a finger of fizzy white foam that dissipates quickly. Nose is apple skin, musky lemon, biscuit, and round wheat. Palate follows with some complex tartness, layers of basque cider, wet shredded wheat, lemon pith, floral grass. Interesting little beer !

Keg @ Brewdog, Birmingham. Funky, appley, saisony, bretty, sweet, sour, overripe fruits. Has a complex tart character with vibrant carbonation and a lot going on that really deserved a longer appreciation than a quick neck before my train!

imdownthepub (15395) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2014
Keg at The Small Bar, Bristol. Hazy lemon gold with white head. Lemony, tart, sour beer, nicely juicy, palate cleansing bitterness. Good easy drinking, oddly fresh, apple like notes. Good.

Keg at BD Shepherd’s Bush - London. Pouds cloudy yellow with a bubbly white head. The nose holds sour cider, acetic twang and citric lemon. Light sweet flavor assertive but brief citrusy tartness, mild acidic funk, very mellow hay. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Clean finish with more tart lemons, hints of cellar and musty apples. Very refreshing.

Tap at BD sheps bush. Pours hazy golden with a white rim. Nose and taste pretty much mirror each other in the form of lemon curd and cheesecake. Very lemon forward and slightly tangy. Super quaffable. I like this

Scopey (15879) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2014
Keg at BD Sheppy B. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is barnyard, dough, cheesecake, hay and soft fruits. The taste is tart, lactic, sour green apple, lemony twang, white grape skin, sherbet and barnyard with a dry finish. Light-medium body and prickly carbonation. A bit too much cheesecake on the nose, but rather tart and refreshing anyhow. Nice.

Keg at brewdog Shepard’s bush. Hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is tangy sourdough bread, musty lactic acid and sour apple. Flavour is sharp granny smith apple, crisp acid. Malts are doughy straw. Some grainy tanin in the finish. Thin acidic palate and super dry in the finish.
