Farmhouse Pale + Gooseberry + Zingy

We thought we would be able to make this beer exactly how we wanted...
The "all-day" wild beer, tart and fruity, but well-hopped and drinkable. We have been chasing this beer since we started the brewery and love this combination.
Juicy, tart gooseberries and out own culture of wild yeast from local orchards give this a gentle acidity. Whilst a generous "dry-hop" of complementary hops enhance the fruitiness and give a light but moreish bitterness.

M_Sack (782) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 29, 2017
Tap @ Dove and Olive, Surry Hills. Light straw. Reasonably well integrated hints of peppery saison and sour wild yeast, but not quite enough punch of either. Highly drinkable, reasonably refreshing

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2017 0.33 l bottle, brought by Goran and Višnja 666 and Goran Pilot. Hazy pale golden with a greenish tint, minimal head. Funky, yeasty, citrus, zest, dust. Perfumed lemony. Watery. Nice finish.

Bottle from Greenslopes Cellars on 28 October 2017. Zingy and lively beer this one with a refreshing tart fruit flavour. Medium bodied in the mouth and pale looking in the glass. Ends with a hit of fruitiness that livens up the palate. Kind of like a cross between a farmhouse saison and a sour ale. First time I have had a beer with gooseberry in it I think.

Subtle tart aroma. Definite characteristics of gooseberry. Refreshing, yet sharp. Very drinkable. I like it a lot.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2017 Tap at Totally Tapped Beeston. Pours pale yellow hazy body white lace top. Aroma is hay, barnyard, skunky, - not enticing. Taste is fruity gooseberry rhubarb lemon, and hence medium to strong sour after a fleeting light sweetness. Palate is medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter finish which is more an aftertaste in itself than a lingering finish.
Tried again 10/24/17. The aroma was less pungent, but the rating stays the same

3.5
andrepintado (3704) - Porto, PORTUGAL - SEP 12, 2017
Tap at catraio. Clear gold. Thin white head. Medium bitterness. Medium dryness. Aroma and flavour is earthy, fruity, spicy.
