Farmhouse Pale + Gooseberry + Zingy

We thought we would be able to make this beer exactly how we wanted...
The "all-day" wild beer, tart and fruity, but well-hopped and drinkable. We have been chasing this beer since we started the brewery and love this combination.
Juicy, tart gooseberries and out own culture of wild yeast from local orchards give this a gentle acidity. Whilst a generous "dry-hop" of complementary hops enhance the fruitiness and give a light but moreish bitterness.

sarauckelman (542) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2017
Clear light lemon yellow with no head, citrusy aroma. Tastes like a nice fresh lambic, not too sour, and with a quality of champagne. Light bodied, fizzy, and really nice.

uckelman (805) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2017
Cloudy, color of white grapefruit juice. Bright, crisp. Almost like a champagne without much fizz. Not much aroma, sadly.

ddrab (63) - WALES - MAY 5, 2017
Light, refreshing and gentle farmhouse beer. Very slight soreness supported by a light floral and pithy hop character. Pleasant gooseberry dryness. Easy drinking as it’s intended.

yodapl (96) - POLAND - APR 22, 2017

fonefan (49601) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 12, 2017

Wixie (598) - BELGIUM - APR 1, 2017
Clear pale yellow liquid, small head. Strong aroma of tripel. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is sour, bitter, and a bit sweet.

Bottle at Zizzi’s. Tart gooseberry and lemon but not overpowering with the sour, a pleasant companion to lunch.
