Farmhouse Pale + Gooseberry + Zingy

We thought we would be able to make this beer exactly how we wanted...
The "all-day" wild beer, tart and fruity, but well-hopped and drinkable. We have been chasing this beer since we started the brewery and love this combination.
Juicy, tart gooseberries and out own culture of wild yeast from local orchards give this a gentle acidity. Whilst a generous "dry-hop" of complementary hops enhance the fruitiness and give a light but moreish bitterness.

tmdaines (127) - Stretford, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2017
Subtle tart aroma. Definite characteristics of gooseberry. Refreshing, yet sharp. Very drinkable. I like it a lot.

3.4
theprof (1132) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2017
Tap at Totally Tapped Beeston. Pours pale yellow hazy body white lace top. Aroma is hay, barnyard, skunky, - not enticing. Taste is fruity gooseberry rhubarb lemon, and hence medium to strong sour after a fleeting light sweetness. Palate is medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter finish which is more an aftertaste in itself than a lingering finish.

3.5
andrepintado (3598) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - SEP 12, 2017
Tap at catraio. Clear gold. Thin white head. Medium bitterness. Medium dryness. Aroma and flavour is earthy, fruity, spicy.

szymonskc (996) - Skórcz, POLAND - AUG 23, 2017
Zapach mało intensywny, słód, zboże, agrest, cytryny, stajnia. Kolor żółty, mętne. Piana niska, drobno i średniopęcherzykowa, szybko znika. W smaku lekka słodycz, lekka kwaśność, niska pełnia, słód, zboże, agrest, cytryny, zest, trawa, stajnia. Goryczka niska, wysycenie średnie.

sarauckelman (550) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2017
Clear light lemon yellow with no head, citrusy aroma. Tastes like a nice fresh lambic, not too sour, and with a quality of champagne. Light bodied, fizzy, and really nice.

uckelman (813) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2017
Cloudy, color of white grapefruit juice. Bright, crisp. Almost like a champagne without much fizz. Not much aroma, sadly.
