Bottle. Pours a clear pinkish purple body with a super fizzy pink tinged head that faded to a very thin film. The smell of this is hitting me from two feet away. Smells like grape soda mixed with jelly. Can’t imagine anyone would guess this was a beer simply by smelling it. Tastes like grape soda mixed with food dye and some grain alcohol. It has a very chemical laced lingering finish that really sticks around. Sticky and clingy body with fizzy prickly carbonation. This stuff is pretty bad. I think I’d rather drink MD 20/20 than this stuff. vmilaxer29 (412) - Virginia, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Taste like grape soda, honestly not that bad. Probably does well on college campuses. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-black color with a large foamy pink head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was all blackberry pie (crust too). The flavor was tart blackberry pie and sugar. Long blackberry pie and sugar finish. Medium body. Very tasty. Sadads (8) - Alabama, USA - MAR 2, 2013 does not count
Thoroughly aweful beer. Smells of artificial berries as soon as a it opens, and first flavours on the palate are of an off flavored, tart artificial fruit. Probably the high point for the beer is it’s bottle caps: why wouldn’t you want a purple bull dog. Also, the alcohol is excessive for a lager-like beer with so many other strong, over powering flavours. jredmond (8285) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Bottle courtesy of my real dad while in Georgia. Pours a deep purple body with thin off white/purple head. Aroma is super sweet blackberries and strawberries. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of blackberry, strawberry, black cherries, tons of artificial sweetener, overly sweet candy and horribly grainy lager notes.

Purple color with many bubbles. Aroma sweet and fruity, inoffensive. Light body, carbonation. Sweet flavor. Bit of alcohol. Flavor is I guess blackberry at least by the power of suggestion, not completely artificial tasting but not entirely natural either. More alcoholic soda than beer. We had this beer at the 2013 Tops of the Hops in Biloxi, MS. This line was a lot like pop, or soda, if you will. The blackberry was our least favorite, but it was still good. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Sweet, artificial grape aroma. Twist off longneck. Purple-black, clear, carpeting pinky head. Very sweet, boozy, unpleasantly bitter with alcohol, jammy, like a $2 bottle of wino wine. Light body, clingy sweet finish. Overall, like someone dropped a Pop Tart in a bottle of rubbing alcohol. ABC Liquors, Bull Run. MarkSachon (1023) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2013
12 oz bottle for The Beerhive in Pittsburgh. Overly fruity without the proper nose. Still, the taste is not bad and I imagine this would be even better during the heat of the summer. Drake (13737) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 9, 2013
12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Leesburg. Given the Wild Red I had, I fear this. Pours a sickly purple color with a thin head that fades almost immediately. Note that I haven’t even opened the bottle yet, but that’s my guess as to how it’s going to go... Well, it’s more of a red color but I’m pretty much spot on. Aroma of big artificial berries, grapes and cough syrup. The taste is pretty much the same... berries, grapes, cough syrup, fairly medicinal. Thick texture, medium bodied, faint booze. This is even more of a train wreck than the other "Wild" beers. Nasty.
