There’s probably some beer in here somewhere but you’d never know it by the taste. The overwhelming blackberry at least seems pretty authentic and not overly syrupy. Still not my thing. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Pours deep berry in color with a nice light pinkish hue on the head. Aroma brings berry, sweet and delicious. Flavor is similar, sweet berry juice with a hint of lager as the backbone. jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - DEC 8, 2012
From a bottle poured a ruby color with a small amount of head. Bitter syrupy raspberry flavor with a lingering aftertaste. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 17, 2012
Sample @ Pick’s Liquors. Pours a dark ruby with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of berries. I can’t tell you if it’s blackberry per-se, but some type of mixed berry. Taste is heavily sweet...berries. Medium bodied with a highly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and too long of a finish. Overall, not the worst I’ve had. Buy a single, not a 6-pack. Bottle. Not the worse thing I’ve ever tasted. The aroma was definitely blackberry, however the flavor was very manufactured and not natural tasting. Had some kick. Ehh.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear brilliant ruby red-purple with a purple-white head that falls after a minute. Aroma is very berry, along with a whiff of vomit. Taste is sweet and bordering on cloying; wish there was some tartness here. Tastes pretty boozy. Thin bodied. This is probably the worst one yet of these weird fruit beers by AB-InBev. Drinkable, though. gregwilsonstl (2615) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Hot from alcohol. Aroma bounces between blackberry and alcohol. Dark purple. No head. Very low carbonation. I’m not sure what to make of this. Its not like a beer at all, more like a wine. fidelis83 (2497) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Pours garnet with a milky purple head. Aroma is mostly blackberry / a generally berry-like tone with a healthy dose of booze and fusel notes. Flavor is pretty much the same. Palate is medium bodied, syrupy and has a cough syrup and light weight oil feel to it. It does a better job of hiding the ultra cheap Malt Liquor+artificial fruit flavor than the Wild Blue, but it is still pretty gross. Berry flavored hangover. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 4, 2012
pours a purple with minimal head. aroma of blackberry syrup or jam. mostly sweet. flavor is similar...very much like blackberry preserves. some faint cereal pr bready aspect. decent. shadey (2148) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 10, 2012
12oz bottle. Pour is purple/black with almost no head. Looks more like a soda than a beer. Aroma is very sweet fruity. The blackberry aromas and flavors completely overwhelm this beer. This is not a beer for beer-drinkers. This is alcohol disguised as soda for people who don’t like the taste of beer.
