2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a golden yellow with no head at all. Aroma is slightly hoppy and citrusy. Taste is of light citrus/grapefruit with a light floral hop character. Pretty sweet. Lightish medium body. Mouthfeel is weak and thin. Unsatisfying and dull. Needs more malt, body, hops and overall flavor.
From old tasting notes. Amber orange color. Small beige head. Sweet, aromatic toasted malt nose. Spicy malt flavor with a well balanced hoppy finish. Complex toasted malt and peppery hops dominate the palate. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - SEP 22, 2015
1/22/2010 10:14:09 PM On tap at Beer Temple. Golden body with tall head. Hoppy nose. Creamy texture with a light taste of hops and oranges. A bit too mellow and harder to rate after the European Strong Lager I had just enjoyed. Pity that. Lenusik (119) - Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2013
A hazy rust coloured pour, and a light tan cap greets the eye sockets of this old man. Aroma considered of citrus, bread, and butterscotch. Flavour was well balanced between the malty sweetness and citrusy bitterness, but neither flavour was overpowering MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy, copper brown with only a thin film of a head and good lacing. Aroma of bread malt, toffee and grassy hops. Taste of grassy, floral and pine hops, toffee and bread malt. Mildly hoppy start is immediately replaced by sweet malty flavors followed a bitter hop finish. Very nice. Medium body and medium carbonation. Quite malty for an IPA, but rather tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone hayduke (5634) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 12, 2011
From a 12 oz bottle from a six pack purchased in Silver Spring, Maryland, this poured a slightly hazy amber to copper color with a foamy white head and good lacing rings. The nose is pine and citrus hops. Body is medium and mouthfeel on the oily side. The flavor is a good balance between the light caramel malts and bitter hops. The finish is dry and bitter. Good.

12 oz brown bottle. No apparent date, just a bottling code.
It pours a clear orange/amber/gold with a fluffy white head that sticks for a bit and leaves some decent lacing.
The smell is very doughy with an overlying of English hops. English hops aren’t always my favorite and here im getting a bit of a vomity/tomato scent.
The flavor is simple, perhaps a bit vegetal and herbal with the hops. Not too much bitterness although it comes through in the aftertaste. The malt is rich but not sweet, it has more of a grainy/bready characteristic.
It tastes pretty traditional, it doesn’t get out of control with the hops. It has a pretty good mouthfeel as well.

Draught at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Really nice colour, orange and blood orange, moshy beige head. Smells glue, very artificial. The taste is really not good. Weak, and the little flavour I felt is really not good. yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2010
