A little disappointed here -- had this and WG Porter the same night. Noticed a close resemblance between the two (yes I used a new glass). The body was weak and lacked the silky smooth texture of an OS. I liked the appearance a lot and the aroma was slightly roasted, but it just couldnt deliver. The porter is much better. Cheers!

Nice, roasty tasting oatmeal stout. Great finish, smooth body and nice aftertaste. Would definitely buy again.

Mildly sweet aroma at first, with hints at roastiness, but after a few sips, the heavy mouthfeel and lingering taste overwhelm the faint aroma. Very dark black in the glass, but shows a little red when poured. Nice lingering dark brown head. Nice sweetish roasted flavor, though mild. I like the full mouthfeel. Lingering aftertaste is balanced - with notes of both malt and hops.

Based on other peoples scores, I must have missed something, but I found this beer to have a rather unpleasant, almost metallic taste

This beer tastes great, especially after a few sips. However, no aroma whatsoever and not much to look at.

Excellent Beer, but a bit on the mild side. A fair nose and a nice finish.

Dense and dark; creamy, smooth palate with a fairly assertive roasted malt, burnt taste; mid-palate presents with a mild sweetness; mild hop presence in finish. Another winner from WG.
