Very creamy oatmeal stout with a pleasant dry finish. I found no real flaws with this one. Black pour with nice tan head. Nose and taste of chocolate, oats, cereal, malts and nuts. Rated 9/5/02 Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2010

Bottle sample at a tasting. Very dark brown to black color with a small beige head. Roasty aroma with some chocolate and a bit of coffee. Sweet and roasty flavor with a rather dry finish. Medium-bodied and very smooth. A good stout! Tmoney99 (14863) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 22, 2007
Bottle from Party Source, KY. Poured clear dark brown with a mimimal creamy light brown head that mostly diminished and produced fair lacing. Good roasted malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium complex roasted flavor with a medium pleasing bittersweet finish of moderate duration. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 27, 2002
Roasty, sweet and smooth oatmeal stout. Hops present, but this is definitely a malt-lovers beer. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 5, 2002
Found at Jungle Jim's in Fairlfield, OH. Almost black with no discernible head and minimal lacing. Creamy coffee aroma. Nice toasty flavor of coffee, nuts and some chocolate. Sweet and creamy finish. Rather enjoyable in my humble opinion. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 20, 2004
Poured a darker black color (you could barely see through it when held to a light) with an average sized, brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma and tastes. Oatmeal comes through lightly. Smooth, thin and lightly watery body.
