Slight aroma of green apples and some whiffs of chemical.
Dark red, mahogany color.
Chunky off-white head with Lingering lace like cottage cheese.
Watery, but not harshly over-carbonated body. Smooth but thin. Roasted dry malt flavors and a dry, hopped finish.

toasty, long aftertaste, slightly sour, complex, almost burnt coffee flavor lyebaptism (17) - USA - DEC 4, 2003
Very tasty. Very low alcohol taste. Easy to drink. Roasted malt nose. Malty flavor with a smooth finish. PrivatePyle (13) - Rockville, Maryland, USA - MAR 18, 2010
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2010 Would be a higher score if price was considered. $6.50 for a warm sixer at liquor stores in Maryland. Medium sweetness, creamy, good summertime stout. Tastes awesome with seafood. ahunter599 (6) - Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 11, 2002 does not count
I was expecting so much more as I love most of what Wild Goose has to offer. I was very disappointed. It’s not a bad beer, it’s just not spectacular. Very average oatmeal stout.

Good flavors, fairly mild for a stout. Would be great if it was thicker, as it is it’s too watery. heymitchum (4) - College Park, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2006 does not count
At 21 I’m a newbie to the world of beer tasting, but I’ve become infatuated with stouts. Wild Goose has a rich flavor and smooth after taste. This is definatly worth a try. GoodKnight1220 (3) - , Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2008 does not count

Pours very dark brown with little to no head. Aroma has a slight roasted note. Had a hint of roast and chocolate flavor. Smooth drinking with flavor disappearing quickly. Overall a good tasting brew.
