The head on this beer, and it may be a bad batch, is nonstop and voracious. The taste is flat with a bite and then its gone. I wanted more from this beer and will ammend my rating should I try a different batch and find out that it was just a bad 4 pack. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 4, 2012
Bottle from Hop City, Atlanta. Pretty nice local Belgian-style brew. Slightly hazy pour, deep golden in color, with a big foamy head. Straw and yeast in the nose, with a dose of dry hops and some pepper. Off to a good start. Slight phenols to taste, maybe that’s just brough out a bit by the mildly slick mouthfeel. But it’s only a modest deterrent and the brew is quite solid overall, with some hops and spice taking charge as the beer lingers. rdixon77 (2917) - Georgia, USA - MAY 29, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2015 Haven’t tried much Wild Heaven, but I like what I have tried. A dark honey color with a long lasting head. Has a nice funky and spicy aroma. Definitely a yeasty presence, but also some banana in there. The taste was surprising. There was more of a spicy hop prescence than I am used to with Belgians. Grainy and full taste that dances between funky yeast, crisp fruit, and just a hint of tart. Smack of alcohol warmth at the end. Wow, nice beer that is more than the sum of its parts. Keep brewing, GA. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - APR 10, 2012
Bottle from Mezcalitos, Decatur, GA. Big herby/floral aroma and flavor. Tastes like the flower, Bidens. Smooth and balanced otherwise. phaleslu (10462) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2012
12 oz. bottle from Keir- thanks again, Keir! Pours a clear copper with some sizeable yeast sediment chunks and an inch of rocky, frothy off-white head that laces the glass. Aroma of bready and caramel malts, rye-like spice, candi sugar, and mixed fruits. Flavor of caramel malts, sweet dough, mild spice, bitter earthy notes, and booze. Medium-bodied with a bitter, chewy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Packs some punch.

Lightly hazed orange/gold pour with white head and clinging lace. Aroma is light brown sugar, yeast, and bready. Light orange zest, abv, bread, Medium bodied with lively carbonation. KajII (800) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a hazy burnt orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) white creamy head that hung on for a little while reducing to a few small puddles and a small ring of residue thus creating some excellent sticky streaks of lace.
The aroma was of a toasted biscuit malt, floral hops and a sweet moldy yeast with notes of citrus, pears, coriander, honey and a mild alcohol scent.
The taste was a fruity malty sweet with notes of citrus and honey from start to finish with notes of pears, green apple, a mild spiciness and a light alcohol tinge towards the end. The flavor lasted an average duration after the swallow with the sweet fruity alcohol taste lingering on well after everything else faded.
Mouthfeel was right in the middle of light and medium in body with a creamy dry texture and a mild carbonation.
Overall a well rounded brew that had a ton of flavor and a mild fruity alcohol presence. Simply put YUM…

Growler. Aroma is sweet like honey and a little grass and hay. Flavor is sharp and sweet again with the honey and toasty malt. The finish is a little fusel alcohol and a lot of bit grassy hops. Distinct yeast flavor. jcwattsrugger (12506) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 22, 2012
12oz bottle-trade with decaturstevo-pours amber with an offwhite head. Aroma is spice/herbal, yeast, 2nd light/medium malt. Taste is spice/herbal hops, clove, yeast, 2nd light/medium malt. jsh12bama (681) - Alabama, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Bottle. Wow the carbonation, mini gusher. Had to wait forever for huge, frothy white head to diminish. Aroma of Belgian yeast, spices, and floral hops. Taste has tons of spice along with pears. Nice mouthfeel. Pretty good.
