An intense Double IPA brewed for the "hopheads" of the world. This robust ale is so full of malt and hops that you can almost chew on it. Served in a snifter to bring out all of the nuances of malt, hop, and alcohol.

Can from Pawola22 - thanks, dude! Sort of an oily, glassy dark orange pour, with less than impressive carbonation. Medium head, not too much lacing. Nose is sharp and grassy, with a dose of sweet booziness late. Taste is a bit hot and heavy on the faded malts, with thin sweetness an echo of once-fresh hops.

Can courtesy of joepeesie. Citrus notes with a hint of pine. Golden Orange pour with moderate off white head. Long bitter finish. Not bad, but not my favorite.

12oz can from emelius. Dirty and hazy amber, Nice aroma of resin hops but a little sharp, citrus undertone with a strong malt backbone. Moderate body and carbonation, little bit of initial sweetness but becomes bitter and grows more so. Leaves a nice blend of resin hops and malt. Good.

Cloudy golden color with a foamy white head. The aroma is a little hoppy with a hint of pine. The body is malty and the flavor is relatively sweet. The flavor has hints of citrus and hops.

Pours a clean orange with a big white fizzy head. Nose and taste a a well balanced blend of piney, earthy, floral hops. Soild malt backbone very easy drinking for the style.

Poured out of can into a sniffer. Aroma: Crisp, clean citrus. Much more of a mild hoppy smell than I expected. Appearance: Small head when poured into a very clean glass. Golden in color with light lacing left behind. Taste: Medium level of hops that are well pronounced after you take a drink. Hops start with floral and citrus but finish with resin and earth tones. Almost no alcohol bite. Palate: Very smooth no bite to the alcohol, slightly viscous (in a good way). Overall: Very nice beer with a clean crisp taste. Nice to drink and great smell to boot! It stands up to Hopslam and other DIPA’s I have had! Great job Wild Onion!

Can at Frontera Grill, Chicago. Clear red/brown - white head. Nice high hoppy. Nice bitterness. Red berries. Light caramel. Roasted notes. Grassy. Light flowery. Toasted.

12 oz can from Blue Dog Lansdale. Poured a super muddy amber brown body under a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma is pretty solid with lots of citrus hops, grapefruit rinds, troical fruits, mangos, bread crusts. The body is solid with stronger carbonation and a lingering bitter bite over a fuller mouthfeel, nice. Flavor of older oranges, light citrus rinds, bread, crusts and cereal. Good stuff.

A mild IPA. Reminded me of Dog fish 60 min. On draft at Dog and Bull. Some nice floral, caramel malt and citrus notes. A tad thin in the body, but not a bad brew. Very easy to drink.

Can from Tokyo Pub. Pours hazy dark orange with white head. Aromas of citrusy hops and caramel malts. Flavor of citrus, some hop bitterness, light spice, and caramel malts. Hops some hop bitterness, but lacks flavor and a malt bomb. Not really worth revisiting.
