Medium sized off white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Gentle nose is spicey, citrusy with some pencil shavings. Medium bodied, lil oily, somewhat spritzy carbonation, hint metallic. Fairly dry malts with some melony notes, citrus and cedar notes, maybe some slight off notes, bandaid, phenols, something growing but still young, hmph. Dry finish with a not big enough bite. Can from ughsmash. Thanks man!

On tap......very oily in an unpleasant way, off balance finishing with loads of citrus taste. A beer which has too much of a lot of great ingredients but no direction. It has potential but needs refinement.

Hoppy aroma. Slight citrus flavor with a bit of spice leading to a bitter and hoppy finish. Not bad from a can.

12oz can from Armanetti’s. Pours a cloudy, amber-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is big florals and slightly candied grapefruit pines with a sweeter caramel malt backing. Some breadiness to the malts with a touch of syrup as well as some pineapple. Flavor is slightly sticky sweet up front with a good amount of caramel and some breadiness. Lots of grapefruit and orange florals, candied pines, a light pineapple, and a touch of toast. Finishes dry, sweet, and resiny with a medium-high bitterness and some candied citrus-grapefruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-full body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a well hopped, slightly sweet DIPA that hides the alcohol well and stays balanced. Just a touch too sweet for me, but not bad.

On tap at the Depot Tavern, nice head, cloudy yellow gold color. Hops and malts tangle, hops win! But the overall experience is off balance and needs to be dialed in. Great potential.

Can. Appearance: Turbid, very opaque orangu copper colored with fluffy, uniform 3-finger off-white head. Nose: Delicious, this aroma is juicy and wet, super hoppy, with big tropical fruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple, piney hops, black pepper, mild funk. Wonderful aroma. Taste: Earthy, slightly funky caramel malt, resiny hops, tropical fruit, semi-sweet. Palate: Fairly dense, high level of complexity, very fresh and juicy and flavorful. I love these Onion beers, and I love seeing great beers continue to pour out of cans.

Great and I mean GREAT IPA. Nice citrus smell, and excellent hoppy taste with a piney bitterness at the end. Truly wonderful, and it comes in a can.

12oz. Can: Aroma of hops, citrus, crystal malt, grapefruit, and slight caramel. Poured orange in color with a small, creamy, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small, and a few large, particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, citrus, grapefruit, light pine, and a hint of resin. Medium body. Lightly tingly, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, hop, malt, citrus, pine, slight resin finish is slightly dry. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
