I thought that this was a well balanced beer with some nice citrus undertones.

From can, drank from can when I had some friends over a few nights ago. So, rating a bit from memory, take that into account. Floral hop-happy aroma with mild carbonation. Biggest impression this beer left was a long, alcohol-y aftertaste that I didn’t recall as too pleasant; relatively high ABV but the alcohol taste stayed with me a little longer than I prefer. To me left an oily sensation on the palate. Decent overall but didn’t really have what I was looking for. Frozer (240) - Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Great floral smell with a cloudy appearance. Upfront flavor is somewhat harsh. Tart and stinging. Very strange character. Not a bad dipa but not repeatable. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 25, 2013
12oz can-thin lt tan-hazy dk amber. A-resin/herbal, med malt-cereal. T-initially not good, after being in the pint glass a bit: herbal/floral/orange hops, med malt-cereal/caramel. Enjoyable but not my style of hops. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 4, 2013

Very cloudy amber pour. The aroma is quite hoppy and resinous but also has a lot of malt flavour/character as well. A little bit of fruitiness and some lingering resinousness as well. There is a bit of citrus and some fruit flavour as well. A touch of lingering sweetness on the back. It’s okay - but it’s not quite punchy enough. mvp (265) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - OCT 28, 2013
decanted from a can. faint smell of apricot or orange. slightly harsh taste. strattonspeaks (113) - Springfield, Missouri, USA - OCT 21, 2013
Pours deep amber orange. Nose is fruity cereal and booze. This didn’t taste true to style for me.....borderline barlywine. Not as much hop coming through as I anticipated....fruit, malt, and alcohol. Chewy. So-so overall. PhilJackson80 (531) - Oklahoma, USA - OCT 18, 2013
UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 12 oz Can. The beer pours to a cloudy deep copper color with a medium white head. The aroma had resin, caramel malt & a slight floral scent to it. The taste has a medium body an almost sweet finish. Overall an average DIPA for me. mansquito (6798) - Nueva York, New York, USA - OCT 12, 2013
The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is piny hops and resin hops, with a substantial malt backbone. Taste is rather bitter and hoppy, but with a big chewy malt backbone. A relatively standard DIPA, but pretty good.
