12 ounce can bought at Binney’s in Bolling Brook, poured a dark cloudy orange color, aromas of biscuits, hay, malt, light caramel, and some hops. Flavors are the same with a light bitter aftertaste. Nice beer overall. SrSilliGose (3330) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 18, 2012
can from frank. thanks a ton frank. notes of light herb, grass hops with a light grapefruit citrus kick. smooth doughy cracker malt backing. nice enough. AirWolfie (10) - Alabama, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Decently flavored. floral and citrus flavors. Fairly drinkable. Floral and citrus up front and light piney taste afterwords. Not to heavily carbonated almost lightly. Leaves a slight bitter aftertaste in the mouth. All in all a decent beer for the season. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 12, 2012
Mild citrus hops and chalk aroma. Bright orange, thick and murky looking. Medium bitterness with some metallic background. Lighter body, but still a bit filling for a session ale. It’s just okay. fidelis83 (2400) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Pours cloudy gold with beige floaties and a 1 finger, creamy white head that has great retention and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, floral and citrus hops, biscuit and light hay. Flavor is caramel, toffee, sweet malt, cereal grain, toast, sweet floral and citrus hops, with a biscuit, caramel and grapefruit finish. Palate is light bodied with a dry, but slightly slick entry, neutral middle and off dry finish. Moderately carbonated. Pretty decent APA.

Can and served in Imperial Pint glass: Hazy golden hue with an initial big frothy head that sadly disappears, very minimal lacing. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and passion fruit hops esters, some herbal vapours as well within the confines of pale biscuity and slight caramel malts. Light peppery aroma as well. The taste follows suit with a nice hoppy and citric character over a layer of simple malts finishing with a mild spicy note. The mouth feel is sprite and slightly metallic. Overall, a fine APA than I could easily drink on a warm spring day. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Grass, lemon, grapefruit, and floral aroma and flavour. Cloudy, copper-golden-orange, nice lacing, and off-white head. Great balance, medium bitterness, and sessionable. wlajwl (6742) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 4, 2012
A mix of citrus hops and yeast in aroma. The flavor is citrus, orange mainly, along with a decent dry hop bitterness into the finish. Not particularly complex but a solid enough APA. jmohno (1610) - Iowa, USA - NOV 13, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2011 Hazy / with yeasty bits- murky light brownish orange.Creamy head layer with very good lacing- also poured from a can.
Nice fruit aroma watermelon/cantelope,also candied bubblegum/cotton candy.Fresh water/fresh mild yeast. pretty nice aroma.
Taste is smooth medium bodied smooth fruit light citrus smooth mango.tropical i guess in aroma/flavor with a light citrus bittering. This is a pretty unique brew.Pleasant aroma and flavor dominated by a fruity type hop with a creamy bready malt backbone with a citrus bittering finish. Pretty unique pale ale, Id have to say this stands alone in pale ales and is pretty refreshing and a nice experience for a pale ale.Its got decent layers of flavor.Pretty tart citrus finish though which is ok but isnt my idea of a great finish, its a pretty strong finish.Still good.
Aroma and hop flavor is the highlights and body is a bready creamyness followed by a clean refreshing citrus bittering.Finishing pretty dry maybe even astringent some. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Murky orange-amber with dead yeast, a rocky beige head a touch of lace. Aroma if floral with dusty malt, caramel and by power of suggestion of the label, onion. Taste of floral hops, pale malt and not a whole lot else, this is a mild APA with light bitterness.
