Like most, I’m attracted to beer in a can. [A] Herbal and cirus tea, grain, light caramel, pale malt. [A] The graphics on the can look like a high-school "graphics-design" project. This one pours a hazy orange/amber. White head rises and falls. [F] Taste is pale malts, with more caramel, heavier tea, and finally some spritzy hops on finish. FInishes caramel, herbal, and hoppy. [P] This beer is almost the definitive example of a medium body. Just enough carbonation and hop tingle to cleanse the palate, but a full mouth feel. Wasn’t too heavy or watery. Though it could have been more satisfying. [O] I’m not sure how cans of Wild Onion beer make it to the south side before Half Acre cans do, but I’m glad to see another local canning line. This beer was nothing to brag about, but it was pleasing in some aspects. I can say
Draft at source. Nose is floral and cream of wheat grainy smelling. This is not bursting with hop aroma as advertised. The Belgian pale ale with citra has way more hops. Taste is slightly less underwhelming but it isn’t bursting either. Slightly sweet. Meh. Christpuncher (3188) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 16, 2015
This one is citruscy and soapy flavored. Easy to drunk and nice and hoppy. Pours light yellow with a thick white head. Had at Wild onion. sawbuck (749) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2015

One if the better pale ales I have tried. Really smooth and easy to drink. Really good even out of a can

Aroma pine, some citrus and a note of caramel..Orange amber color with a white head. Sweet malt up front...kind of off. Piney bitterness next. Finish is a bit unbalanced.with a weird after taste.

12 ounce can from Binny’s. Malty and fruity esters without much of a hop bite to it. Ok but glad I only bought one.

Tap at the brewpub. Light orange pour with a spotty white head. Mild grapefruit aroma. Palate is thin and a bit watery. Lower flavor. mjmoen (575) - - JUL 8, 2014
Hazy amber color with white head. Can really smell the cascade hops. Perhaps a little bitter for the style. rumproasts (5478) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2014
can. amber with one finger head. medium body with a fair amount of hops, but the flavor itself is rather dull. perhaps a bit soapy as well. below average. OsuStu (269) - - APR 19, 2014
12 oz can. Pours a very hazy, almost opaque deep orange. Pretty color. Large sustained off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with citrus. Some earthy smell. Tastes of citrus and herbs. Bitter grapefruit finish that lingers. Decent. gmellison (427) - Colorado, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Can thanks to nielsenratings. Pours a murky reddish grapefruit color with a medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, a bit soapy, some citrus. Flavor is grapefruit juice, soap, lingering bitter finish.
