Bottle at Crios. Hazy golden amber color, small off white head. Aroma of light spice and just enough goird. Taste is pretty well balanced and not over spiced.

You can tell it is a pumpkin beer, lots of pumpkin and not so much abv, it isn’t bad.

12oz can. Poured a cloudy golden color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of lots of spices and pumpkin. Tastes of the same but a little bit thinner. Would like to have seen more pumpkin.

Can. Pours a hazy mild orange with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma has lost of crisp malt with just a bit of pumpkin and spice. Flavor brings the pumpkin out more with a nice growing spice in the finish to round out the beer.

DocLock (10653) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Can from Epps. Pours turbid pumpkin orange with 1-finger uniform sticky white head. Looks great. Smells of pumpkin spice, pimpkin puree, Graham cracker crust. Smells great too. Tastes rich, with a great pumpkin and pie crusty flavor. Good complexity, and one of the best and most complex pumpkin ales I have ever quaffed.

Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy orange pour with a clingy white head. Nice cinnamon and nutmeg aroma. Similar flavor but more reserved. Decent.

12 oz. can at the STLHops Pinball Party. Bright orange can from a brewer I’ve never heard of- I was all over this at the end of the night. In college, it would have been the hammered chick in the low-slung top. Anyway, pours a cloudy gold color with a white film for a head. Spicy aroma- nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, caramel malts, and some pumpkin. Flavor is exactly the same. Light-bodied, with a spicy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. This delivers the pumpkin ale goods. No more, no less.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7694) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2014
The can was the best part of this beer. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a cloudy orange-caramel color with a medium sized creamy-soapy off white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy and industrial with notes of corn and cinnamon. The flavor was tangy, industrial and corny with a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg and yeast. Medium finish and medium body. Not good.

Strykzone (7305) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. A nice pumpkin pie nose that includes nutmeg. The flavor is almost as good with those pie tastes. Pretty good.

PhillyCraft (7082) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Can, pours an orange amber with dct sized head that didnt last. Not much lacing. Aromas of pumpkin spice, and nutmeg. Taste is fine up front with a light pumpkin breadiness with vanilla, and toasty malts. However, it finished weak and was way too light bodied/watery for a pumpkin ale. Cool can but the beer wasnt great.
