Nice smelling beer. The flavors are a bit flat, but there is a bit of a toasty nutty flavor to enjoy it.

Unsuspectedly smooth for a tap pour. Nose is a complex balance between the sweet nuttiness and light roastiness malt notes. Surprisingly, I get no maple until the taste. Only a slight hint then of the sappy sweetness. I could see myself drinking this by a roaring fire, or with some pancakes.

Had on tap at brew pub in Redmond. Clear & dark red like wood stain. Smells like "warm" in a glass. Flavor is great until aftertaste.

A decent maple syrup beer. Pours a beautiful deep red-brown. Smells great, maple syrup and cola. Taste is not as good. A little watery, some cola, hint of syrup in the finish. Had on tap at Loyal Legion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery taproom.
A very pleasing maple brown ale with a well crafted brown ale base, lots of aromatic maple, and a subtle maple sweetness in the bitter-sweet flavor.

Draft pour pint at Toronado. Muddy brown pour with a cream tan head. Mild aroma of maple and malt. Flavor is watery caramel malt, a bit nutty, with an earthy malt finish. Not enough maple to be advertised the way it is. Overall a good effort to make a standard brown ale interesting, but it remains bland.

nice nose. but that’s the only place you can really detect the maple. Otherwise a pleasant but standard nutty brown, ever so slightly sweet leaning.

Draft - Dark malts and some nutty notes. Deep brown with a light brown head. Dark malts, touch of cocoa, some nutty notes, a little syrup sweetness and a dry finish.
