On tap at Wild Rose, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out some notes of pine, some metallic notes, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour brings out piney and floral hops, but in a pretty restrained way, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. No residual sweetness here, which is good, but not the most robust IPA. Decent snd well-made, just nothing special. simonblaine (593) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 19, 2014
Pours Amber, aroma of the usual IPA stuff. Taste is lightly citrus, tropical fruits. Not too bad.

From my dear brother: Pours a light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, some citrus, and maybe some pine or something. Taste is pretty bitter at the front with some nice sustain. MInor lingering aftertaste. Not bad. maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - MAR 23, 2014
Amber/copper pour with large off white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, citrus and hops. Taste of malts, toffee, slight citrus and a strong hop finish. Medium bodied and lower carbonation, slightly chewy mouthfeel and a little cloying, long hop finish. tdubs92 (63) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 10, 2014
Effervescent aroma with mainly hoppy and citrus scents. Copper brown appearance with thin white head. Decent blend of malt and bitterness. Bitter on the palate. Ok but not my favorite IPA.

Aroma: fragrant hoppu aroma with hints of clove
Taste: very true to modern ipa’s; the cascadian hops hot you immediately and leave the bitterness to end. Maltiness is hard to detect
Appearance: clear light brown body with retaining lace head rederic (3344) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 23, 2013

33 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Light copper colour, thin head. Bright metallic aroma, come resinous hops and a background of breadiness. Balanced flavour, nothing overwhelming, malt coming through then a sharpness on the finish. andrewthfcmuir (32) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2013
Dark red to brown pour... white head that disappears quickly. Beautiful aroma that really makes this a true IPA. Taste is bitter enough to call it an IPA, a tad watery, nothing too significant though. Absolutely no complaints about this IPA, it’s nicely bitter, and it’s what you expect out of an IPA. Yes, there are better choices around, but this is definitely worth a try. Masterkush7 (581) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 23, 2013
A good ipa brewed close to home. A English style ipa that I like even though I’m a bigger fan of the American style. A good Carmel malt background balances out this ipa that has a nice dark brown color. I enjoyed this brew and will again for that price
