3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - Pours out hazy orange amber with a rocky fast disappearing head. Sweet citrus hops with a grassy butterscotch note. Thin mouthfeel and sweetish thin malt with some hops coming on. Needs to be dry hopped at at least twice the rate and more bittering hops to get your mouth thirsting for more. I was expecting (by the rugged label and name) to be smacked in the mouth with a super aggressive hoped up "over" bittered monster. When I see a pipe wrench (or hammer maybe) on the label of an IPA I want and expect my tongue to just about bleed from the hopping rate. Sadly my mouth did not get the grievous hop assault it came looking for.
Draft. Clear brown body, big white head. The aroma has some musty malts to it. The taste is decent big very unbalanced. Not too hoppy, more sweet. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Light pine and some malt. Some amber pour. Light bitter finish. Low on character like romantic comedies. Zekso (30) - POLAND - JUL 25, 2016
Dziwią mnie niskie oceny tego piwa. Piłem je ostatnio otrzymane w puszcze w paczce z Kanady i wyszło rewelacyjne. Cytrus tropik i żywica w aromacie, w smaku zaś świeżo chmielowo i z dobrą goryczką. Niesamowitym atutem tego piwa był fakt, że nawet po około godzinnym odstaniu i drugim podejściu nadal pachniało świeżo i bogato. Nie zdarza się to aż tak często. Z chęcią bym sprawdził to z wersją beczkową. Listigovers (1279) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 12, 2016
Amber golden pour, light aroma. Long lasting white head. Taste is moderate bitterness and slightly watery body. Refreshing, not bad. scanovajr (753) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - JUN 11, 2016
On tap. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and piney. Could be more aromatic for an IPA. Taste is also hoppy, citrusy and piney with some caramel malt in the background. Aroma is by very exciting but the flavor is ok.

355 ml can from Sobeys Liquor, served in a nonic pint. Pours a shade of orangey-amber with faint carbonation and a pearly head that leaves lace patches as it dissipates. Nose is fairly fresh, mild-to-moderately strong citrus and piney hops with a dash of floral, and a lightly caramel malt sidebar; on the tongue, there’s the same tasty hop complex and toasty bread-like malt backbone with caramel hints. Thin, slick, and mildly bitter in the finish. Not challenging, just a plain good IPA. DeanF (2514) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 4, 2015
Nice foamy head and okay yellowish body with modest carbonation. Yes, there are sweet hops on the nose, probably only one kind, very everpresent which is great but not entirely complex. Flavour is a bitter mix of hoppiness with a very faint hint of malt. Dry finish. Good mix and crisp, very drinkable. cmacklin (1277) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - APR 29, 2015
341 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet citrus aroma with floral hops, caramel malt and resin. Sweet grapefruit flavour with caramel, pine and a dry, bitter, floral hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad. Hammy78 (975) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2015
Bottle from CO-OP. Pours a true clear copper, off white/ creame coloured head, good amount of lacing. Nose is sweet and hoppy. Tastes hoppy, but a little bit soapy, pine, caramel, a little bitter. Okay, but could be better. BunchABeer (30) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 8, 2015
Pours clear light-amber with a small light-beige head that disappears quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus, piney hops & caramel malt. Taste is moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body & carbonation. Lingering bitter finish. Drinkable.
