Draft pint at the brewery taproom; straw colored with a stiff head of white foam. Quite smooth and elegantly hopped, this takes on a Czech-like character. Very light aroma. Nice pils ... RB’erians stop hating good beers just because they’re yellow. May not be a Victory Prima Pils, but this yet another underrated, quality pilsner. Super light golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, pale malt and some sweetness. Medium-bodied; Astringent hoppiness with some floral tastes. Aftertaste clean and crisp. Overall, nice and fresh. I sampled this beer on 15-May-2004 at the May RB Party in Toronto, Onatrio. beerhugger (542) - Oshawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2004
Well the very pale bosy didn’t draw me in very far but there was some small promise of hops in the aroma to do the job. The taste was clean but very thin in the mouth and while there was a trace of some bitter hops it was left lacking in the finish. Throw some more hops in there and beef it up a little and it would be even more drinkable - as is it does OK but fairly standard. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 3, 2004
Clear yellow, huge fluffy head. Nice slightly hoppy aroma. Good clean and crisp taste, a great example of the style. Short slightly hoppy finish. A great summer beer. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2004
clear yellow, fluffy white head. clean malt aroma with very little hop presence. clean sweet malt flavour with good bittering hop. finish is nicely bitter. the beer could have been great with some more hop aroma.

Very light yellow in colour with a large fluffy white head, some floaties. Aroma was hoppy, light malt and slight sweetness. Flavour was hoppy, light malt, crisp and dry. Medium-light body. Finishes dry, light bitterness. DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 24, 2004
Some fine saaz hops in the aroma, clear yellow, pours a fluffy white head, some floaties. Taste is good clean hops, nice bitterness, light bodied and crisp. Fairly good offering. Great bottle! Thanks mr_kimchee! pootzboy (1779) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2004
Possibly Wild Rose’s best brew. A true pilsner taste from a Canadian brewer. Astounding! Poured a light straw color with a white frothy 2 finger cap that took a while to go down to a surface covering lace. Low carbonation. smells of saaz hops and light wheat malts...very nice. Starts with a wonderful tart taste punctuated by the hops then that familiar Czech Pilsner bitter-dryness is unleashed upon a background of wonderful wheat and barley malts in a smooth as silk mouth feel...the finish is dry, metallic and then has a wonderful biscuit malt after taste which is the signature of this brewer. Avery decent pilsner and I’m a pils head....I like this beer very much. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - MAY 20, 2004
Sweet, light malt, rather soft notes, light hoppy character. Pale gold, white head. Light bodied lager with substantial malt base. Some semi dry green bitterness at finish. Slightly to thin body, needs more development and balancing. IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - MAY 19, 2004
Ugly yellow with floaties, not nice to look at. Decent malt and hop balance. Lightly bitter finish, decent body. Not too bad.
