COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a light bodied ale with a distinctive raspberry flavor and aroma and contains 4.5% by volume. It is made with whole raspberries (not extract!) and its light hopping and refreshing nature makes it a great hot weather patio beer.

Light browny gold with hints of red I guess you could call it a peach color, no cap was produced at all but the beer does appear to be very fizzy. Aroma is powdery and sharp, with sour raspberry and wet hay. I’m already sick/bored of this beer and I haven’t even taken a sip yet. The brew seems watered down and has a thin dry flavor. A powdery sour candy with rose water and stinging carbonation. Malts are light and flavorless. Beer isn’t horrid its just not a good one to think about, just slam it on a hot day at the lake and you’ll be fine.

Bottle. Pours pinkish amber. Nose is fruity. Palate is light hoppy with raspberry on the finish. Not what I expected.

Pours a pale golden colour, clear with a small white head that disappears fairly quickly. Aroma is of wheat, light malts and raspberry. Taste is a mild sweetness, not bitter. Light body, average carbonation, and thin on the palate. Overall a decent beer, not overly sweet, which is nice in a fruit beer.

341 ml bottle. From Calgary, AB, Canada.
Clear light pale golden colour with small white head. Raspberry tart and some malt in aroma. Sweet raspberry, tart and some malt in flavour. Quite real raspberries in aftertaste. Fizzy.

Well, upon opening the bottle, it smells like raspberry syrup. Pours a clear, pinky gold with a thin head. Thankfully the raspberry taste isn’t as strong as it smells - but it’s still definitely the dominant thing going on here. The rest of the beer definitely plays second fiddle, but what does come through is straightfoward and doesn’t interfere with the raspberry. Particularly on the finish. Nice crisp and clean mouthfeel - avoids coming off as syrupy - nice and refreshing.

Bottle. 4.5%. Pours a deep golden yellow with just a little bit of a pink tinge that I may be imagining, with a weak, bubbly white head. Aroma is strong raspberry. Taste is a malty lager taste with a hint of raspberry sweetness and a dose of raspberry tartness built in. Finish is tart, but not unpleasant. Overall, this is an interesting concept beer, but it just isn’t anything to get excited about.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2009 fairly ordinary fruit beer with a good nose and the raspberry flavor isn’t overpowering but compliments other ingredients nicely.

Bottle. Pours gold/pink clear, head disappears quick. Aroma of raspberry. Tastes of malt with a light hint of raspberry. Pretty good, although it could use more raspberry flavour.

Better than most fruit beers, the raspberry is a nice accent to this beer and really compliments the nose. Nothing super special.

Light haze on a light yellow pour. Raspberry aroma that is subtle enough to not be overbearing. Taste is to the same proportions as the nose. Taste is there and not over the top. Could have more presence though.
