It is a light bodied ale with a distinctive raspberry flavor and aroma and contains 4.5% by volume. It is made with whole raspberries (not extract!) and its light hopping and refreshing nature makes it a great hot weather patio beer.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color. A quite simple ale with a very light raspberry aroma and a light raspberry flavor. Not for my taste.

On tap at Wild Rose, pours brings out nasty artificial berries on top of chemical detergent notes. Flavour brings out faded artificial berries that thankfully mask shitty chemical notes. Man, this is really bad - what were they going for here?!

Oakes (19370) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 23, 2005
Really light colour, a vague amberesque thing with a slight pinkness to it. No head. The aroma has some raspberry, with light champagne notes. Very thin body. No bitterness at all. No malt, either, just a vague hint of raspberry. A whisp of a beer. Thanks to microakes for the taste.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2017
(Draught) Pours a clear pink body with a small off-white head. Aroma of raspberry and wheat. Flavor of raspberry, grain, caramel, and earth with a thin mouthfeel.

On-tap at the brewery. Light head on reddish pink colour. Some lace.Fruitish aroma and decent raspberry taste, but a definite fruit beer not very rich. No lambic here.

341 ml bottle. From Calgary, AB, Canada.
Clear light pale golden colour with small white head. Raspberry tart and some malt in aroma. Sweet raspberry, tart and some malt in flavour. Quite real raspberries in aftertaste. Fizzy.

jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 30, 2005
Bottle. Pale yellow witha small white head. Tart fruity aroma. Flavour is pretty simplistic, delivering just enough of the tart fruity notes of the aroma. Not much else though, bit bland. Very tart raspberry notes linger a bit in the finish. Average to thin palate.

DuffMan (10751) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 24, 2006
Pale amber with a hint of pink. Quite carbonated which contributes to the feeling that this is a light beer. Aromas of leafy fresh raspberries and some sweet malt. Fresh raspberry tartness overlying caramel and pale malts. Not too sweet. Lighter mouthfeel. A fruit beer that achieves what it sets out to be, rather than becoming a cooler in beer’s clothing.

JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2006
Pale hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Soft raspberry aroma, light milky/creamy aroma with a bit of wheaty spiciness as well. Flavour is pretty good, tart raspberry and a bit of lactic acidity. Thin-bodied but very drinkable. Fairly tart and dry finish keep this from being cloying like many raspberry beers.

mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2008
[794-20071102] Tap @ Wild Rose (Calgary, AB). Raspberry tart aroma. Clear, orange pink body with a long-lasting creamy white-pink head and thick lacing. Mild raspberry yeast flavour. Medium body is smooth. Nicely blended flavour.
