Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts with an unusual sweetish dark chocolate. Little spice. Mellow earthy coffee. Touch of malt cream. Light finish. Tasty stout.

Keg in The Alehouse, Reading. Strong alcohol aftertaste. Nice level of carbonation. Quite smoky but no other noticeable tastes. lokis333 (632) - Birai, LITHUANIA - MAR 20, 2016
Deep black color with thick dark brown coffee foam. Aromas of cranbery cheddar cheese? or dark chocholate in a way but I smell more of the cheese but in a nice way. Also quite sweet. Palate, medium body, smooth texture, has some carbonation to it and leaves fruity, chocholate and quite boozy finish. Taste, malty, chocolate and has strong alcohol taste to it. Overall, interesting beer, quite boozy, not the best beer or maybe just not my type. ManVsBeer (11473) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2016
Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Fairly strong tasting, but not overbearing, and it’s not very stated in its roasted malts. imdownthepub (15645) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2016
Keg at The Beerd, Oxford. Very dark brown with cream head. There is a rich body to this with chocolate roasted dark malts to the fore, chocolate nibs and coffee hints. Good rich palate with a creamy texture, some nuttiness, some roasty bitterness. Darn good beer.
