Taps pale straw yellow with a nice eggshell head. Crisp aroma delivers malty and pear notes. Flavor echoes the aroma, nothing special but palatable. Body and fizz are fair to middlin’. OK to take the edge off a hot day - and what with climate change, we’ll have plenty of those! jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 25, 2016
Draft - pours yellow white head - nose/taste of pine, apple, corn - light bodied hershiser2 (3832) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2015
On tap at the source.
Grainy, bitter, doughy, bready. Corn? Nothing special here. rondphoto (4516) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 13, 2015
on tap @ Wild Wolf / Nellysford VA --- Clear straw color, white head cover, spots and blobs of lace. Taste is thin malt that becomes hoppy on the swallow. Emphasis seems to be on the light body and easy drinkability, but that leaves me feeling like it isn’t quite what it needs to be. Strykzone (7806) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2015
12 ounce can from a locals trade with nimbleprop. Clear golden with a small white head. I smelled lemons upon opening and there is some grass. Lemons are also tasted with soft malts and a dab of honey. This is a refreshing beer. Hops almost dirty things up with soft fruit and bitterness. A little spicy bitter bite at the finish. A nice version of a classic.

Can thanks to nimbleprop, pours a clear pale straw with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, dry grassy hops, and light malt. Crisp hops and yeast with a quick bitter bite on the finish. Pretty straightforward Pils, decent and drinkable. JDBaker11058 (2427) - Maryland, USA - SEP 28, 2014
Appearance: clear bright yellow, with a massive frothy white cotton candy type head, persistent lacing--wow. Aroma; bright and clean, with toasty white bread, lemon zest, fresh-cut grass, and light honey. Taste: light flavors--mainly lemongrass, mineral water, some grassy hops, and light cracker. Finish: tail end of this beer had a surprising amount of lemony bitterness that dried out what was otherwise a clean and crisp back end . Notes: Not a bad pils at all. Frankly, expected a little more in the way of flavor, based on the aroma. So that was the only down note. Was a great looking beer, great nose, great palate.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, medium fluffy white head. Aroma of cereal, crackers. Taste is light bready hay. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2014
7/19/2014. Tap at the brewery. Golden yellow with a white head. Light, yet hoppy with grainy flavors and a dry finish. jkwood04 (5472) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 21, 2014
12oz can. Looks light. Aroma of dough and bread and pale malts and some light floral hops. Flavor the same. Lighter texture. Not that great of a beer.
