Ambitious Pale Lager is a classic Munich style lager. Only certified organically grown barley malts are used. It is cold conditioned, well balanced between malt and German noble hops.

Can as "Yellowstone Road Block Lager" purchased in yellowstone. Drank from can. Aroma is a bit roasty with a touch of smoke, oddly enough, grains and noble hops, corn. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Not great.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready malt, grain, lemon, grass and yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, lemon, bread, yeast and bitter grass with a sour finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A pleasant surprise! An excellent pale lager, quite tasty. I’m not a fan of lagers at all but I would drink this again.

Pours a pale gold, with thin white head. Aroma of malts. Taste is sweet and malty. Drinkable and a little different than other lagers. Thumbs up. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Buddy brought can of this back on vacation for me. 16 Ounce can package as Road Block Not much of an aroma. Hazy, Straw in color. Taste is simple but enjoyable drinking and really smooth on the palate. Overall above average but nice drinking!

Picked up a single 16-oz can at Summer Sun Garden and Brew in Missoula, Montana, and sampled at the brewery taproom in Stevensville, Montana. Pours a clear golden pale straw colored brew with a thick and rocky off-white head that really sticks around. Aroma of golden grain malt, floral and spicy hops, with a touch of white bread dough. Taste is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, lager yeast and a touch of spicy hops. Finish is semi-sweet, typical lager yeast-like bread with plenty of golden grain malt aftertaste.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a slightly hazed golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave some light lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a malty and bready smell. This is mixed with a little bit of a grassy hop. For the most part the aroma is a bit on the subdued side. Taste – The taste begins with a bready taste mixed with a moderate sum of graininess. As the taste moves on some flavors of caramel and more grain come to the tongue. These tastes are later joined by a hint of a citrus and grassy hop, leaving a rather grain bready taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. For the style it is pretty nice and creates a rather easy drinking medium for the lighter malt flavors of the beer. Overall – Worth a try, but nothing too exceptional here. Just a slightly more malty lager.

Can. Pours a hazy golden yellow. White head. Aroma is tart, grainy and yeast. Flavor is also tart, light and crisp. Some grain. Not sure if this is supposed to be soured but it's actually quite good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank the Roadblock labeled version. APPEARANCE - light golden color, no head. NOSE - light lager. Light grassy hop scents. FLAVOR - what?s expected for a light lager that?s brewed for the tourists.

Straw, fruity, and a bit of apple in the aroma; hazy gold color; fruity malt, a touch of doughiness, mild holiness; medium body, average texture and mouthfeel. Pretty decent, refreshing and flavorful in a hot and humid day. Nice can design.

Not a bad lager. Its a pretty thick beer with some slightly stale grassy hop character.
