355ml twist off. Gold pour, white head. Aroma is husky grain and some vinous savory herb hops. Flavor is metallic sweet malt and herbal hops. Very heavy for a pils, high carb, drinkable.

I just kinda figured this would be hideous but it’s okay. It’s kind of a bland-ish lager w/ a bit of corn Chex malt character and not much in the way of hops really. Its texture is kinda oddly creamy which does make it a bit more satisfying. There’s an unfortunate oxidized metallic note lurking in there but it’s pretty minor and I guess I can live w/ it for one glass. This is pretty unexceptional but you can drink it if need be.

First tick in almost 3 years! 12 ounce bottle from Brennans Brookfield. Hazy pale amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of cereal grains, grassy malt. Sweet. Taste is sweet malts and grassy hops. Thin. Meh.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Code on bottle reads 16:08 1614 SP. Clear golden, slight orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves some decent ropes of lace. Active looking carbonation. A few fine particles suspended in the body. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, light to moderate carbonation. Slick texture. Corn, bready aroma. Moderate sweet taste, very light bitterness. Light bit of a bite in the finish. An OK pilsener, not great. A bit slick, but unnecessarily rough and heavy for the ABV. Not refreshing like a pilsener this light should be, not crisp.

First try at a micro brew and loved it. I am now working on tasting my way through micro brews.

beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JUL 18, 2013
Clear yellow golden with fair, creamy white head, partially lasting. Aroma of pale male; bready, light grain, honey. Light body but not thin or watery. Crisp, some creaminess. Sweet, little spicy bitterness. Flavor is bready, a touch of honey and lemon, a little spiciness. Pretty good.

madvike (3271) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2011
Bottle - Pours clear yellow with a fluffy white head. Smell is...whoa...is this cold product? Smells of skunked light floral and perfume hops and pungent pils malt. And metal. It’s crisp, but not delicate like I like a pilsener to be. After that initial blast, the skunkiness subsides a bit, but this sucker still doesn’t seem too fresh. The taste is roughly the same, more malt-forward to begin, with some floral/herbal hops sneaking in to begin the finish. Lightly sweet malt stays in the mouth through the long finish. I could see this being way better if the smooth edges were sharpened up a bit, but this feels like something that’s sat in the cooler too long.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of pils malts, noble hops, and grains. Poured yellow in color with a small, white head. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of pils malts, noble hops, and grains. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, hop and pils malt finish.

jandd1983 (4390) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 20, 2011
It poured a pale yellowish color. The aroma was of a malt smell complemented by earth tones and some hoppiness. The taste was very grainy with slight sweet and bitter notes.

nuplastikk (6313) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 25, 2009
12oz bottle. Filtered yellowish copper color with a nice white head that settles out pretty fast. Lots of CO2 bubbles. Crisp sweet aroma. Somewhere between light and medium bodied, with a solid bitter edge. Not particularly as clean as you might like it to be, with some corny sweetness in the finish. Overall though, this is still a pretty good product.
