355ml twist off. Gold pour, white head. Aroma is husky grain and some vinous savory herb hops. Flavor is metallic sweet malt and herbal hops. Very heavy for a pils, high carb, drinkable. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2006

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Code on bottle reads 16:08 1614 SP. Clear golden, slight orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves some decent ropes of lace. Active looking carbonation. A few fine particles suspended in the body. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, light to moderate carbonation. Slick texture. Corn, bready aroma. Moderate sweet taste, very light bitterness. Light bit of a bite in the finish. An OK pilsener, not great. A bit slick, but unnecessarily rough and heavy for the ABV. Not refreshing like a pilsener this light should be, not crisp.

Clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma of dry Saaz hops and pale malt. Body is lightly sweet, but mostly dry and bitter with a tart finish. Too sour and puckering to be a good pils. Bland flavor could use a more refined body. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2006
Bottled. Poured a bright medium golden with about an inch of creamy white head. Nose was of pleasant sweet bready malts, honey, and the faintest hints of lemon. Flavor found sourdough bready malts, spiked with somewhat sour lemon and light spices. Lighter on the palate but never watery. Decent feel. I could drink this again. Brimming over the top of the glass with rocky white head that is both well-retained and lace-forming. A highly clear, baked-straw golden body shows a flurry of medium-small sized bubbles.
Rather muted straw and grassy hops, not overly crisp or aromatic, seem to hover above the liquid. Little more than fluffed grain in a warehouse, as far as malt goes. I first pass it off as the large head impairing the the aroma, but after swirling the glass some and allowing it to breath further, the most I get is a bit of light honey and sourdough or cedary-oily notes. A bit more sweaty hay emerges, as well, but it’s a far cry from crisp or lively on the nose.
Flavor is rather heavy in water to malt ratio. Not loose/thin in texture, but just lean on malt. Dry cereal and some moderately crisp straw show redeeming qualities, as the palate adjusts to the wetness. Moderate carbonation and certainly drinkable, but there’s a bit too much dough on end and I can’t shake the initial cidar-cedar note. Ultimately too round for a pils and especially for a Bohemian Pils (which this is not). Dry finish at least, with no alcohol.
12oz bottle. Filtered yellowish copper color with a nice white head that settles out pretty fast. Lots of CO2 bubbles. Crisp sweet aroma. Somewhere between light and medium bodied, with a solid bitter edge. Not particularly as clean as you might like it to be, with some corny sweetness in the finish. Overall though, this is still a pretty good product. JK (6296) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2007
This is a nice pils. Gold color and moderate hop aroma, with malt and hop flavor. Mild bitterness.
