Forgettable! Pours a bubbly dark copper w/ a retaining beige head & some lacing. The aroma is basically all malt & boring. The flavor is primarily all malt as well w/ some barley that adds balance but not nearly enough to make this very good. It’s light as expected w/ the low abv & easy to drink but there is nothing here to make this memorable! john44 (3331) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2017

Bottle, 50cL. Home. A shining very dark brown beer with a big off-white head ; medium retention ; good lacing. Roast, toast, raisin, candied fruits, dark fruits, caramel, light smoke. Light to medium sweet, light dry bitter refreshing ; quite round. Light body, medium texture, average good carbonation, sweet roasty fruity finish. Overall, really enjoyable beer : nice toffee character, nicely sweet, very drinkable. tekstr1der (495) - New Hampshire, USA - JUL 29, 2015
Decent, but a little boring. Light brown pour with little foam. Aroma of malt with some caramel. Flavor is a little watery, but still smooth and malty. Nothing overtly wrong with this beer, just low abv and associated lightness all around.

Deep brown hazy beer with 1 finger off-white head, nice lasing. Aroma: a lot of caramel, honey, fruit esters (fig, dried plum, raisins). Taste: light sweet, light sour, light bitterness. Flavours of caramel, chocolate, a little bit of winy notes. Medium body, light but lively carbonation, pretty dry.
Overall: good, tasty beer, for me it’s like mix of german bock and belgian dubbel. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2015
Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours chestnut with a wisp of a head. Quite sweet fruity bog standard Scottish ale, it’s OK. Andy_ (1121) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2015

Amber to copper colored beer with blonde persistent head with quite big bubbles, leaving lacing. Aroma has toffee, almonds, wood, bready maltiness and dried fruitiness. Flavor is woody, malty and toffeeish. Palate is quite thin and soft with light feel of sparkling. Finish has medium or milder bite of bitterness. Aftertaste is malty, toffeeish and woody with some dry hayish bitterness and some dried fruitiness. Very British, not bad for this style.
Lite amber, off white, mild lacing, and lite head retention. Caramel, fruity, mild alcohol, and mild citrus notes. Medium bodied, syrupy, caramel, fruit sweetness, mild lemon, and earthy notes. Decent balance, medium bitterness, nice dry notes, and mild alcohol.

Richish malty nose. Decent magnolia head. Deep brown hazy colour with some orange sparkle. Burnt caramel and a medium body with a sort of a red ale twist. Some sharp acidity and a light sour edge. Head thins over time but doesn’t disappear leaving some long wispy lacing.
A bit stylistically confused by still quite decent.
