Pours a yellow ale. Aroma of honey, biscuit and citrus. Hoppy, floral, citrus flavour. Bitter finish. An excellent purchase. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2008 Bottled. Excuse me while I go all giggly. It may have been the company I kept or the mad dogs weather but this just scored all the way for me. Lovely light gold body, faintly floral aroma, tightrope balanced flavours (malts covered in liquid fruit) and a simple short finish. LordCrabapple (109) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2007
This is a deliciously light, fragrant beer. And with only 3.9% alcohol, I can risk having more than one glass! KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 19, 2008
Bottle from a London Oddbins.
Golden beer, fluffy head.
Very aromatic, full flavour. Belgian yeast profile, fruity, a little sourness. Bread crust, dusty finish. A new favourite - way above the standard dull British Golden ale. johndoughty (5452) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2005
Clear golden appearance pouring flat with virtually no carbonisation. Citrus flavours bounce of your taste buds leaving a refreshing and lively mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 3.9%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Nice hoppy aroma, notes of fruits, berries and pine forest. The flavour is zesty and fruity with a nice hop character, some citrus notes, a piney bitterness in the finish. I’ve said it before: I’m a sucker for golden ales like this one, with their moderate ABV and refreshingly hoppy character. radassace (332) - SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2017
500ml bottle. Pours a golden amber with a white head. Carbonation rushing up the glass. Nose is caramel and cereal grain malt, apple, gooseberry, tangy citrus fruits and floral. Light body, but a honey feel to it at the same time. Very silky going down. Sweet malts leading into zesty lemon, apple, honey and floral hops. Dry bitterness on the finish but the sweet malts and gooseberry notes linger too. Very drinkable after a days walking out in the sun !! maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2006
Bottled. An orange gold coloured beer with a wispy white head. The aroma is a bit grapefruit and lemony. The taste is lovely resiny hops. Quite full in the mouth and very much in an APA style with the hops really standing out against a malty background. Very nice indeed. Cunningham (7990) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 30, 2012
Golden colour with a white head. Very hoppy nose. Citric and fruity flavour. Suits me very well :-))scotty (1208) - SCOTLAND - NOV 20, 2005
[Bottle bought at Oddbins London Bridge in London, England]
Clean gold colour, fine bead resulting in a good white head, lasts well down the glass. Fine aroma of fresh citrus fruit and vanilla. A well balanced palate has sweetish malt and nice acidity from the hops. The finish lasts well....nice beer!
